Feb 9, 2023A worthy sequel to Deliver Us The Moon and a genuinely atmospheric experience. Some technical problems are not enough to tarnish the very positive overall impression.

Feb 17, 2023Obviously my action platforming game skills have waned over the years, but I admit that I did get a bit frustrated at times by having to restart sequences until I got it right and could move on. Some of the action sequences, especially climbing, doesn't seem to be all that intuitive. Since climbing can take time to complete, maybe having difficulty settings or tips would help to even game play out. Perhaps a training facility where Kathy could go to learn how to be a better climbing astronaut would be helpful? Unfortunately, frustration can take some of the suspense and intrigue away from a great story but luckily, Deliver Us Mars delivers more than just Mars. It delivers a splendid story voiced and acted out by a lot of very talented actors.

Mar 8, 2023Overall, Deliver Us Mars is surprisingly compelling, with a story of a daughter searching for her wayward father despite his crimes — while others on the crew are searching for him because of said crimes. Most of the gameplay does a great job of keeping things varied, but I wish that there were just a few more puzzle ideas to break up the times when it feels like the game ran out of ideas and popped in another MFT puzzle. Endure those, and Deliver Us Mars is a great game that balances the narrative with allowing the player to have agency. It is further proof that sci-fi stories don't need to involve aliens or explosions, and the humanity within the game's story is admirable.

Mar 19, 2023Deliver Us Mars is a truly worthy sequel of the -underdog- Deliver Us the Moon. There is much more effort in developing its characters and the overall story complements and expands the topics of the first game. Expect a slow-burner, hard science fiction adventure and you will not be disappointed.
-
Feb 2, 2023Deliver Us Mars is better than Deliver Us The Moon and enriches the story by giving it a more human side. Maybe it is too linear, but it is a journey worth taking.
-
Feb 2, 2023Like its predecessor, Deliver us Mars lives from its great atmosphere, but this time it also complements it with a well-staged narrative. The clearly more personal story, in which a family's discord is also symbolic for humanity's fight for survival and their different views on the future, fascinates from the first minute on. It doesn't even bother that it doesn't rumble and bang at every corner.
-
Feb 2, 2023Deliver Us Mars offers a refreshing sci-fi adventure with an entertaining, emotional story at the forefront. It ups the scale from its predecessor and manages to reach for the stars relatively unscathed.
-
Feb 2, 2023Deliver Us Mars it's not an innovative game or one that surprises. If you played Deliver Us The Moon, you'll find the same ADN here. But the new location and story makes it a great game that will entertain you and hook you up till the, partly also because of its ability to recreate the atmosphere of the red planet accurately.
-
Mar 1, 2023I am pleased to say that Deliver Us Mars was very enjoyable, taking what feels like just the right amount of time to complete the story. I am hopeful that if there is a third entry in the series, it will overcome the technical limitations seen in the first two.
-
Feb 7, 2023A serious display of sci-fi storytelling talent, even if the production falls short of space age.
-
Feb 6, 2023With an excellent and mature story going over current themes, Deliver Us Mars is the game to get for those looking to be immersed in a believable and personal space opera. While the gameplay is a definite improvement over that of its predecessor, the simplicity of some puzzles (which often feel like a distraction from the story), the excessive linearity, and the many technical issues prevent the game by KeokeN Interactive from being a proper masterpiece.

Feb 2, 2023It certainly shows greater signs of life than Deliver Us The Moon (which I'd still recommend playing beforehand if you have the chance, even though it's not strictly necessary in order to appreciate what's going on here), and while it might not be as polished or glamourous as other space games launching this year, it's a worthy continuation of KeokeN's thoughtful sci-fi series nonetheless. The future it depicts may be bleak, but this is a world you'll be glad to escape to, even if it's only for a little while.
