An overpriced cheesy and melodramatic story interrupted by dumb puzzles and frustrating gameplay mechanics.

The developers preferred wasting money to add DENUVO DRM than perfecting their game, they sure are greedy. Where to start the animations are pretty bad, walking animations look stiff and slidey as the move speed of the characters dosnt match the leg movement speed. Also some textures look bad and pixelated. Is this a 2023 game title or a game made in 2008 it makes me wonder....Now the writing at times is just cringeworthy and characters mostly wishing they would be quiet. The gameplay is nothing special, it's casual don't expect any real challenge. Overall the game was short as hell too, took me around 8 hours to finish. Don't waste you money Expand

Deliver Us Mars is a truly worthy sequel of the -underdog- Deliver Us the Moon. There is much more effort in developing its characters and the overall story complements and expands the topics of the first game. Expect a slow-burner, hard science fiction adventure and you will not be disappointed.

While it retains the intriguing plot and robust space atmosphere of the first game, the lack of puzzle variety, poor face modeling, and monotonous gameplay that quickly becomes repetitive make Deliver Us Mars a weak game. Despite the additions, it feels more like a step back than a sequel.

Overall, Deliver Us Mars is surprisingly compelling, with a story of a daughter searching for her wayward father despite his crimes — while others on the crew are searching for him because of said crimes. Most of the gameplay does a great job of keeping things varied, but I wish that there were just a few more puzzle ideas to break up the times when it feels like the game ran out of ideas and popped in another MFT puzzle. Endure those, and Deliver Us Mars is a great game that balances the narrative with allowing the player to have agency. It is further proof that sci-fi stories don't need to involve aliens or explosions, and the humanity within the game's story is admirable.
