As a solo game, Team Sabre is a bit lacking.
Bad A.I. and no realism, but who cares? The nonstop rat-a-tat-tat of automatic weapons in hostile environments gives Team Sabre its charm. [Apr 2004, p.91]
The new missions are interesting, and the new weapons nice enough. Since this is a $19 addon you’re getting a fair amount of fun for your money.
Team Sabre may not be realistic, but it's packed with explosions, wild gunfights, and quite a bit of fun--though it's also extremely frustrating at times, due to a limited save system coupled with some excruciatingly difficult gameplay.
It’s an incredibly thin expansion pack, even considering the el-cheapo price tag.
It seems as though the game tries too hard to grab your attention. Like an annoying child, Delta Force: Black Hawk Down: Team Sabre forces you to comply by sheer redundancy.
As a pure single-player action game, the expansion is a mixed bag, but there's still some great gaming to be had with the whole "Black Hawk Down" experience. [May 2004, p.64]
