    Demetrios – The BIG Cynical Adventure is a quirky point n’ click title with a perfect blend of smart, mature, and pop humour that tells a refreshingly new story without pushing itself into the realm of slapstick exaggeration for the sake of a gag.

    It is easy on the eyes, fun to listen to, and its cruel satire and toilet humor make it an entertaining journey from the beginning to the end. The game would benefit from more fleshed out gameplay and more imaginative puzzle design, but it is still one that left me wanting to see more out of this developer in the future.

    Demetrios is a solid point and click title from Cowcat. It is point and click and dialogue-driven, even to a fault at some points, but the difficulty will be enough to offer up a challenge to those who love the genre. Demetrios certainly isn’t perfect, much like its main character, but it is intriguing enough to warrant a go.

    If it sounds like this is all being to harsh on The BIG Cynical Adventure, it’s only because the game makes it too easy to be cynical right back at it. The one-man development efforts of Cowcat are to admired, but they sadly can’t save the end product from being purely mediocre.

    Demetrios is different from what you'd usually expect from a Point & Click but in a good way. Usually I'm not really into this kind of games, but this one got me hooked and I couldn't stop playing for hours.

    The story could be a bit more fleshed out but overall it's a very good game with a great soundtrack and a lot of fun.

The puzzles are logical and varied, the screens have a lot of things to click on and it has a nice story. I really enjoyed the the gameovers and cookies collecting!
