Jul 27, 2020Rebuilt from the ground up in every way, Destroy All Humans! (2020) puts every other remaster on notice -- this is how it’s done.
-
Jul 27, 2020In the end, Destroy All Humans! seems like the perfect palate cleanser in between games like The Last of Us: Part 2 and the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. It isn't going to win any game of the year awards, but then again, it isn't trying too. It is simply here to make jokes, give players a power fantasy that involves invading wise-cracking aliens and allow people to live in their favourite b-grade invasion flick. By those goals, Destroy All Humans! is a resounding success and people looking for a light-hearted bit of fun should look no further.
-
Jul 27, 2020THQ Nordic brings back a cult of the early 2000s to the screens. Destroy all humans! that's all you remembered, with even more.
-
Jul 27, 2020Destroy All Humans (2020) is a fine offering by updating a fan favorite PS2 game for the modern era. Technical issues plague this remake from being the perfect 1:1 recreation, but what is there is fun enough to warrant a few hours of destructiveness. Fans of the series will surely find a lot to enjoy with Black Forest Games’ remake, but Destroy All Humans doesn’t offer enough actual new content to bring new fans in on the invasion.
-
Jul 31, 2020It’s just pure gameplay, and sometimes, that’s all you need in a game. Unfortunately, it does suffer a little bit from repetition. While it’s nice to see this style of game back again, it’s a shame it wasn’t a full remake, as the technical limitations of the older consoles can be felt in some of the level designs.
-
Jul 27, 2020Solid and true to the original, but even mordernized graphics can’t save the mediocre gameplay of the original.
-
Jul 27, 2020Destroy All Humans! has excellent visuals and is fun for a couple of hours. But it's so redundant, uninspired, and devoid of any real energy that I can't recommend it to anyone that doesn't already love the original.

Jan 29, 2021A great little short game and an amazing remaster. The open-world is really fun, it feels like GTA but you are an alien.
