Don’t let the playful concept fool you, Disco Dodgeball Remix is no joke and should not be overlooked. Gameplay is fun, fast, furious, and more balanced than most AAA shooters. The game offers a ton of content for both multiplayer and single player gamers.
Disco Dodgeball Remix may look like a goofy multiplayer sports game and it is. However, the amount of fun to be had is impressive so here's hoping that it attracts enough online players to make it a worthwhile download.
Disco Dodgeball Remix could have benefitted from some more thoughtful maps, but it's nonetheless an addictive take on the first-person shooter.
Disco Dodgeball Remix manages to add some longevity to a game that originally ran short on time. The player progression and the variety of modes help stave off potential boredom. The game's playful colour and style remains compelling after three years. Whilst the online does seem to be hampered by the urgency to get you playing, there's a lot to keep you occupied and it's mostly enjoyable.
With friends it’s a blast, probably even better while drunk.
In the competitive world of online multiplayer, a game must be special to stand out from the crowd. Disco Dodgeball Remix stands out for all the wrong reasons. It proves itself to be a nice idea stretched to breaking point and beyond. I played it, so you don’t have to.
