A strategy game that provides more thrills and spills than most. [Issue#10, p.66]

Refreshing, exciting RTS. [Nov 2008, p.92]

A fun, involving strategy game with unsophisticated visuals featuring online play and modding to ensure plenty of longevity. [Oct 2008, p.111]
  4. Emergency 4 is an exciting and funny game despite some technical problems. Gameplay is its strong point: it's really involving to see that your decisions make a difference between the life or death of dozens of people. Definitely a good game to buy.

Emergency 4 brings variety to the strategy genre and will please those tired of the usual war or management games. It's true it has some flaws and maybe it is more focused to the more experienced players, but anyway it's quite an interesting proposal.
  6. PC Zone UK

The odd moment of frustration aside, this is a shallow, but entertaining strategy game. [Oct 2008, p.71]
  7. Emergency 4 offers complete freedom to complete its twenty missions from the campaign mode, but they're too slow because of a difficult option tree and the fact that our units are not able to run.
