This is, essentially, this generation's Beyond Good & Evil. A charismatic, engaging and refreshingly peculiar game that's among the most beautiful of recent years.

You might miss optimized configuration options, but otherwise you get the complete package of this soulful action-adventure.

Enslaved is as ambitious as it is flawed. Those of you who can put up with mediocre gameplay and a lack of polish will find a touching, rewarding story heightened by top-notch cast performances. Others need not apply.

Its gameplay style and combat mechanic were clearly designed with the console player in mind. When transferred to the PC, the entire experience is undercut.

Despite some stunning art direction and a rich story complete with interesting and complex characters, Enslaved fails to provide a compelling game play experience to complement its artistic and narrative strengths.

It’s the gameplay which remains slave to the visuals and storytelling here, in this intriguing but shallow post-apocalyptic fable.

And they delivered a complete port for the PC, haven't seen any kind of bad things for the PC version, so the porting is excellent.

IOne of the best games I have ever played, makes me think that this game is extremely underrated because it made its way up to my top 5 list. I would recommend this game for anyone who is into adventure games with a ton of ass-kicking. I would rate this game 10/10, it has a interesting story that fits the setting of the game, and it really deserves a sequel for many reasons, but the most important reason for the sequel is because of it's open ending, and there's a high chance that the sequel would have done better, Although it does have some technical issues experienced on the PC and PS3 that made it unplayable for many people, but don't let it stop you from playing it and it didn't stop me from giving a 10/10, because almost all of the issues on the PC are fixed by the community here and there, and if you have a Xbox 360 then you are in luck because it runs perfectly without any problems on it. I played it on my PC and the minor technical issues didn't bother me al all since it's easy to fix almost all of them so it's a 10/10. I hope whoever plays this game enjoys it as much as I did. A little bit irritated by **** with graphical settings, sexual themes - tired of this as sex is advertized everywhere, there are more ways to make a woman adorable, rather than **** and if there were more fightings it would be better.
Final score - the game rocks!

There is limited freedom of movement, but that's no too shocking. Best played with a controller, this is a good buy on a steam sale - however I probably wouldn't recommend paying full price for it. It was obviously designed for a console in terms of the freedom of action and some of the wonky camera angles that you occasionally wind up with. Expand

The fighting is fun if not a little easy with the available upgrades. The characters are likable and the acting is good. I thought the ending worked with the story. It's a little bland, but I enjoyed my playthrough. Expand

When most UE3 games in that time were mostly abysmaly brown and grey looking, this boasted so much color variety and it really helped making a great looking game with interesting take on post apocalyptic setting where AI has wiped out most of humanity and those left alive turned into slaves, with few running free always in danger. But gameplay wise it in the end became bit too repetative to my taste, there wasnt that much variety to the hack n slash combat. Animations were slick tho, especialy Monkey's which has mocap done by legendary Andy Serkis. Story was fun and overall enough with some noticeable character development and likeable 3 main heroes, but ending felt somewhat anti climatic with few questions of mine left unanswered.

Can reccomend to anyone who likes solid action hack & slash games.

As I'm a left handed, I changed key bindings. It was hard to do so since panel kept moving slightly and its light blinking to distract you. When using a mouse, you can't point to certain keys, you have to move the mouse higher. After you're done changing key bindings, you had to watch a movie, then you're ready to play, but you found you can't jump and it says you need to use MouseY (I still have no idea what it is), so I went back to option. However key binding isn't there, so I had to go for menu, it means you lost saving progress. I changed jump key to Numpad 0 again. I had to watch movie again then it required MouseY again for jump. It went cycle four or five times. I've had enough of it. It kept scrambling your key bindings. I found that there are other people who have the same problems. I think it was designed for Xbox or PS4 or both, not so much for PC. Expand
