    Evil Dead: The Game is a no-brainer for fans of the series and even horror fans in general, capturing the best elements of what makes Evil Dead so memorable and weaving them into a great experience to share with friends or even tackle alone. While it may have its flaws, the dedication put into this title is obvious from the get-go. If you’re tired of running from what bumps in the night and want to get some payback, this is the game for you. “Come get some.”

    Saber Interactive has crafted a highly entertaining asymmetrical multiplayer game in Evil Dead: The Game, and a lot of that is down to an understanding of how best to implement the quirks of the source material into game form. With possession, slapstick, gore, violence, chainsaws, and malevolent trees, Evil Dead: The Game is as Evil Dead as it could be.

    Playing as the Kandarian Demon isn’t as fun as it should be and the single-player experience is somewhat lacking, but if you want to team up with three friends and show a bunch’a deadites just how deadly a prosthetic chainsaw can be, this is the game for you.

    Despite its faults, I think I’ll be coming back to Evil Dead: The Game quite often. It’s got a solid foundation for asymmetrical multiplayer that doesn’t tread on the toes of its competitors, while also remaining a fun and cohesive adaptation of the source material.

    Evil Dead: The Game is a very interesting asymmetrical multiplayer game, extremely faithful to the atmospheres and suggestions of the horror saga created by Sam Raimi, as well as capable of delivering a relatively fresh cooperative and competitive gameplay. Played with friends the title is fun and exciting, but the formula couldn't hold up very long due to the limited and confusing combat system, as well as some technical issues on PC.

    Evil Dead The Game is great and bloody fun for an occasional session with friends. After a while though the gameplay gets too repetitive and the game lacks content. It's okay for now and then, but it fails to motivate over a longer period of time.

    I haven't had this much fun in a multiplayer game since PUBG was new. Also this game runs great even on my laptop. I hope the developers continue to make smart decisions and continue to add cool fun stuff to this cool fun game.… Expand

    Looking at this game as someone who has zero interest or knowledge of the franchise. The balancing in multiplayer is a joke. In my experience survivors that just huddle together and watch every direction practically cannot lose against the demon. Stacking melee characters with high damage and health, with the healer is laughably simple. Takes far too long to collect energy as the demon to even attack them until mid to late game. At which point survivors have higher tier weapons to combat you anyway.

    Also people keep comparing this game to Dead By Daylight. STOP. ITS NOT. Absolutely nothing like DBD except that its 4v1. Its extremely similar to Resident Evil Resistance. Another failed horribly balanced and boring game.    … Expand

Hilariously bad decision making when it comes to basic "what is fun?" gameplay decisions that you have to assume every developer involved is a massive failure in every other area of life. Why not use anti-cheat? Why not use a "report a player" for cheating feature? Why make overpowered abilities and utterly uselss abilities exist in the same system? Why make it so difficult to give the devlopers feedback? The only thing they got right is...

    See above: stuff other more creative, intelligent people already made.
