Perhaps the strongest aspect of Fallout is that it is ideal for RPG newbies yet at the same time provides a depth of role-playing that veterans can really get stuck into. It also has the best replay value of any game I've experienced to date.
  2. This is one of those rare games that oozes quality from every pore.
  3. The story is so well developed in this game you'll wonder why you've been playing mindless shooting games like "Quake." When you start the game you'll be treated to with one of the most chilling, well-written introductions a game has ever been blessed with.
  4. Above all, the NPC interaction and voice acting are the best in any game to date. This game is possibly the best investment an RPG fan can presently make, and will prove entertaining for countless gaming hours.
  5. This top-down RPG is without a doubt the best PC RPG we have played in years. That's not an exaggeration. Years. I can't think of another game that comes even close to Fallout's excellent character generation and skill system, great story, and classy delivery.
  6. Fallout's detailed graphics, compelling plot, and intuitive gameplay should deservedly broaden its appeal beyond the hard-core role-playing game audience. Put simply, Fallout may be the best role-playing game to be released in years.
  7. A decent RPG where you can indeed actually advance your character and choose one of many paths through the story.

best fallout game as story and dark tone. it better than fallout 2 bcosue broher hood in this make sense and starting and ending of game muchbest fallout game as story and dark tone. it better than fallout 2 bcosue broher hood in this make sense and starting and ending of game much better than fallout 2. even the music in this game can beyond quality only comparable diablo 1 music score even post apocaliptic movie musics cant match fallout music level. this game year wise can compared alot diablo 1 because smilar look up and dark tone but fallout 1 also have detailed video characters even you can ask someting with random typing this sytem even today not seen any game. of course succesor fallout 2 can compared this game a lot but fallout 2 start with lost and hard training and brotherhood not main theme even removed the game and more like dusty wasteland feeling its felt a lot like big dlc. on the other hand fallout feels dark mature and complate packed a humanity last hope game espacialy in the start and finish tragicly maybe worst feeling ending in a good way. its feels complate journey. al things in the game factions people city desicions not clear in moral wise you can ask what is good what is bad its not clear in the game. you can be bad but effect good in the end or opposite like life only time tell. another things about game humor and also how colorful even in all hope lost content like how vault suit complate blue yellow or vaultboy no panic advertsing like monoply guy. of course fallout 3 and 4 uses some elements much better but still mixture of all and main scenario so strong here. there is no training on fallout 1. map locations not clear in start and start with time limited water chip quest its just fit the theme. you feel like am the hope then you realize vault its not suppose to be then you join militiary guys but again feel like they just like technology maniacs every faction or people in game can change. dialog options feels just natural you can be shoot if you push dialog enough or not allowed for place forever only game to save before talk characters. what missing the game cover location ruined necroplois huge city not like huge no big ruined tall buildings you wil get shiny t51b armor like robocop but not selfie like amazing ruined city red cover. brain fargo new wasteland 2 stiil feels like dusty fallout 2 becasue of that fallout 1 still like title says a post nuclear role playing game with mature level and dark tone. combat sytems weapons armors other series not too much improved like how introduce in fallout 1. steam version also add 1080p full hd support not just only orginal 640 480 versions but legendary movies still not hd of course only the game scaling with hd. And finally, when FO2 hit the shelves, i hit the stores, and in the third one got a copy!!! Yeeeey! Boy, was i not disappointed! There weren't many changes, but the additions made for an excellent successor of the grandiose original title. Loved every second of the game!

What happened? Where have these games gone? Why we rarely have such ingenious consistent addictive game development today? Or am i just being nostalgic? :)
