Name a game where you can take a Renamon, nail it to a barrel, turn the barrel into an improvised NASA reject, and launch it into the sky, and then make it explode with a gun from Half Life 2. You can't, can't you? Garry's Mod is ultimately 23,000 games in one, and all you need is a couple old Source games lying around on your hard drive. Simple, isn't it?… Expand

   Just perfect, all half life 2 stuff are here, and i can download so many mods in it, that transforms the game completely

   Played this game a lot... Five years later I'm studying software engineering at university. Coincidence? No. If you have any interest inPlayed this game a lot... Five years later I'm studying software engineering at university. Coincidence? No. If you have any interest in programming buy this game and start playing with the expression scripting language, you can do so many cool things.
   
   PS: Find a server with interesting people and interesting mods, a good community can keep you coming back for years.… Expand

   This is more than a game. It is a fun house a movie maker, creation center the list goes on and on and on it is simply the one of the best games ever!

   U can do whatever the hell u like in this game. Think it and u can do it. If u wanna **** around with some friends and with some mods. Go for it

   This is a pretty good game. Although I must say, downloading addons can be really annoying at times. The game itself is a great sandbox, beingThis is a pretty good game. Although I must say, downloading addons can be really annoying at times. The game itself is a great sandbox, being able to manipulate rag dolls and build structures using the Half Life 2 source engine can be a real blast. There are also some really fun online servers, although downloading all the files the servers use can take awhile. I think I would rate this game higher if there weren't so many glitches. I have owned the game on three different computers, and played 100+ hours, and there are some things that really annoy me. For one thing, the game allows you to spawn NPC's with weapons, however most of the weapons that the game starts you off with (not addons), don't work. I think that the developers could have done better on this, and while I don't blame them for this, I think that they could have patched it. This game is a very good deal, considering if you own a game that uses the source engine the game is $10 on steam. I would/do recommend it to most of my friends, and I think that the creators did a great job making a fun, creative game.… Expand

   I hate this game, So much f****** bull**** like technically problems, updates don't work no mod compatibility unless you bought the SteamI hate this game, So much f****** bull**** like technically problems, updates don't work no mod compatibility unless you bought the Steam version but dumb vehicles and lame npc's, Textures will not work and if you try to fix them by installing something it will crash the game seemingly on purpose for you. Horrible boring and limited experience for the base game. Also the game doesn't allow you to make unlimited amount of props and limits it to around 500 each something Mine craft manged to do without any problems.. Lame and bland starting weapons. Map issues and other reasons makes this "game" not worth the struggle and only an occasional play through if you are bored out of your mind! I have not experienced any unique fun with Gmod and probably never will maybe when it first released it was a fun and polished game but now it's a redundant mess with lots of confusing contraptions and constant repetitiveness.… Expand
