    Fast first-person action game, where parkour rules. Ghostrunner is full of surprises, which help to keep the game frest and fun. There is really nothing more you can ask for. [Issue#308]

    Ghostrunner answers the age old question of “What if the combat was actually good in Mirror’s Edge?” It perfectly pairs parkour style free-running with frantic, but precise combat to create movie-like action sequences. This is all backed up by a fun narrative that drives the gameplay forward at a blistering pace. Ghostrunner is honestly a must-have for PC players and the most fun I’ve had reviewing a game this year.

    Ghostrunner was a pleasant surprise. It's a short and fun action platformer that keeps you busy with challenging but fair stages, while smartly mixing things up throughout the experience. It's not quite as great in telling its story as it is with its movement and combat, and it can be frustrating at times, but when everything works well together, it's a satisfying and fun skill-based action game. If you are looking for a linear and challenging game, pick up Ghostrunner.

    Put simply, it regularly betrays the cyber-ninja fantasy it's peddling. The speedruns will doubtless be dazzling, and Ghostrunner certainly LOOKS every bit the blockbuster it isn't. How unfortunate, then, that a game about a deadly assassin should suffer from so many critical failures in execution. [Issue#352, p.114]

    Insane graphics, perfect level design, smooth movement and gameplay. 1 hit 1 kill mechanics which makes playing a real challenge even for DarkInsane graphics, perfect level design, smooth movement and gameplay. 1 hit 1 kill mechanics which makes playing a real challenge even for Dark Souls or Hotline Miami fans. 10/10 cannot expect more from this type of game.     Deserves a 10 because :
    -no cutscenes from begining to end , just fluid gameplay

    -no **** your deaths are because of your fault
    -a challange where you dont feel like you dont stand a chance or where you feel like luck go you trough the level, its all your doing
    -it requires you to think
    -the swordplay is amazing, you just want to keep slashing enemies all the time
    -the abilities are awesome and you can use them to make amazing plays if you got the skills
    -the game makes you feel like a badass
    -the game puts you in a flow state
    A game that is trully a game, not that tripple A garbage with fetch quests and follow this guy while he walks extremely slowly missions. From begining to end its just super fun to play.    … Expand

The best part of this game is absolutely the movement it's so fast and fluid you can go from dying hundreds of times on a single stage from going from beating the stage without dying it's all trial and error. The game is difficult but fair it's truly an art that has been lost to gaming. Everything about Ghostrunner is simply perfection there's pretty much nothing wrong with game I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing action game.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is simply amazing. The visuals, the soundtrack, the platforming, the voice acting. Its almost perfect. I does have flaws, such as the Mara bossfight, which is not particularly hard nor is it cool to play. I felt like it was an okish one. The hardest bossfight was for sure T.O.M. He is Both hard and satisfying to defeat, though not one of the main bosses. The final bossfight is one of my favourites and itis almost perfect.… Expand
