God of War was the best game of the previous generation and now it’s available on the PC with little enhancements, but none of them is needed. This is a good PC port with no issues and a wide variety of graphical choices. With the inclusion of Nvidia DLSS, you will not be sacrificing visual fidelity for the framerate and vice versa. God of War is a game that will always have my recommendation on any gaming device it’s available on.

Kratos slices, cuts, but above all strikes in the heart of the player. By turns fierce, contemplative, moving and funny, God of War redefines the eponymous series without refuting its past to which it is intimately linked by its history.

It all adds up to the most definitive version of one of the finest adventures the God of War has ever taken. If you’re thinking of diving into God of War, this is the best, most elegant way to play it. Opt for the PC version over the PlayStation 4 title – and enjoy a splendid ride.

God of War is even better than it was in 2018 thanks to the power of the PC. With an uncapped framerate, native 4K and Ultra-Wide Screen support the game looks amazing and plays even better. If you're new to the series, this is the place to start.

Nothing has changed. The game is mostly the same: Kratos is still playing the "father simulator" and God of War is still a wonderful game that, at the time, offered an aesthetic experience hard to match up. However, nothing that existed in 2018 can be assumed as the reality that we live in the present day, the fateful AP (After Pandemic) World. What really changed is, undoubtedly, the way we see it... Ah, of course! Also the platform.

The Phantom of Sparta makes its debut on PC with a port of remarkable workmanship, which inherits all the merits of the Santa Monica Studio masterpiece and enhances them thanks to the merits of a technical sector of exquisite workmanship.

Overall, God of War feels like a game made with a specific audience in mind, and I don’t fall into its parameters. Regardless though, the God of War PC port holds up well, gameplay remains similar, and it can be accessible to people with a variety of rigs. For that reason alone, it may be worth a shot.

It is a truly well-crafted story with, in my most sincere opinion, the most satisfying and fluid gameplay in any videogame that i've ever played. I'm not gonna go too deep into what makes this game great or any spoilers that shows you why this is a masterpiece of a storyline.
If you haven't played this game, i truly recommend you to play through it because i can assure you, if you enjoy an epic storyline with amazing action packed moments whilst also having some slower character developing and emotional moments for you to feel for the characters, then this game is gonna grab you from the get go.
And if you have played through this one, i also advise you to playthrough the old ones, they're different and more focused on action packed content than an immersive story but they also are really great games in their own with a great story aswell.
Go ahead, Spartan. May you slay your enemies with discipline.

That goes for all categories; Story, gameplay, world design and visual effects. I have played similar triple-A games (rhymes with "A passion's Greed") that fall into the same category, but don't even come close to this. Easy 10/10. Expand

It's really good for someone who hasn't played any of the previous titles. The combat reminds me a bit of dark souls, which I like. The voice acting is simply amazing, it captures the emotions perfectly. I was less invested in the story, but it was still really intriguing. The characters are developed really well throughout the game. The graphics are breathtaking, better than any game that I have played. My pc is not that powerful, but it still managed to play really well with medium-high settings. The PC port is well done, haven't encountered bugs or lag.

I didn't really like the crafting and armor system. It was confusing and a bit overwhelming.
The open world aspect was okay... I didn't find myself excited to explore every island or complete every side quest, wasn't engaging enough.
Also I didn't like that they reused a lot of bosses, but I didn't really mind at the end, since the combat is really good.

Anyway, this game is really great.

FROMSOFTWARE has managed to "Call of Duty" -ify dark souls. It's rinse and repeat. Take out the open world and you have dark souls. Open world fails in a game that was originally designed to be a linear gameplay. I wish they took notes from Breath Of The Wild and saw what did not work.
