The only sour spot in the package is Bop It’s cumbersome motion controls.
Not all board games can be improved by virtualization, but there's some fun to be had in this game collection.
If you’re looking for a good stocking stuffer for a young Wii owner in the family, Hasbro Family Game Night 2 isn’t too bad.

In all, Family Game Night 2 offers five good board games for $40. The problem is, if you already own these classic games, there is no need to buy this. If you don't own these games, I recommend buying the actual board games for they are a lot more fun to play then sitting through a lot of not needed nonsense and using the Wii-mote, which isn't as responsive as it should have been.
Pass on this unless you are someone who would rather play games on a console that don’t translate that well to the video-game platform. The controls are not that good and grind the frustration level even when trying to play the games on their original settings. Some of the retro games are decent, though.
Comprised of several well loved classic games, including the historic Operation, Hasbro Family Game Night 2 should be a lot better than it is. Other than Connect 4x4, which holds up relatively well, the board games just don’t convert well to the Wii.
