Feb 5, 2020Hilarious satire, clever art style, and increasingly complex gameplay make Here Be Dragons a pleasant experience all around. Mild mechanic hiccups blemished my experience from time to time, but not enough to discourage from taking to the sea time and time again.
-
Feb 4, 2020Essentially a board game with deeper game mechanics and an enjoyable plot, Here Be Dragons is sure to pose a serious challenge to those who will make the mistake of underestimating its difficulty.
-
Mar 2, 2020Hilariously funny, ridiculously cute, and generally well put together, it only suffers a bit from an increasing reliance on RNG over strategy as the game wears on.

Feb 10, 2020While it initially took me a while to get into, and the random nature of the encounters can sometimes be annoying, there’s a lot to enjoy with Here Be Dragons.
-
Sep 26, 2020Here be dragons is a proposal that manages to enchant us with its successful naval combat system and particular aesthetics, but that after several hours of play, does not get better. More innovation, complexity and a multiplayer option are missed to get into its competitive mode more than ever. We find ourselves with a simple and challenging bet, which solidly takes advantage of its basic premise in the use of the turn-based combat system. An entertaining title, but it also has factors that could be improved and polished.
-
Feb 28, 2020Sometimes, beautiful graphics and interesting dice-based combat just aren’t enough, like here, where the story is weak, the humour is hit and miss and the sense of progress is non- existent. This game is strictly worse than Dicey Dungeons.
-
Jan 31, 2020If you ignore the game's terrible sense of humor it's a pretty engaging take on the tactical genre.
