    Hidden Deep is a 2D action & exploration sci-fi thriller set in a mining and research facility more than a mile under the ocean floor.

    Control your team members directly or by giving orders. Accomplish your mission by coordinating different tasks. Explore the sub oceanic caves by using specialized equipment: grappling hooks, scanners, drones and heavy machinery are all part of your arsenal.

    Hidden Deep is an incredibly well created indie horror with all the hallmarks of classic 80s and 90s horror and sci-fi media.

    Last year I predicted that Hidden Deep would turn up on my best-of-2022 list, and nothing about the game as it currently stands causes me to reconsider that — the only major problem Hidden Deep has is that there just isn’t enough of it yet, but hopefully that’s something that the developer can address before launch. What’s already here, though? It’s spectacular.
