    Himno is a relaxing 2D platformer where death only comes from falling. The levels are dark and ruin-like, yet emit tranquility and beauty as well. It's best played in short bursts, but if you just want to turn off your brain and relax, here's your chance.

    Though Himno prides itself on its relaxed atmosphere, its lack of direction paired with its procedurally generated worlds fail to leave a lasting impression. As a result, it is only worth it for the most diehard of platforming fans.

    It is a good game with a neat look. And it is very calm. You really die so you have more time to explore the levels with out any rush.

    If the game was with price, I would not recommend it. But since it is free, it fully corresponds to its essence and content. "Himno" is, firstIf the game was with price, I would not recommend it. But since it is free, it fully corresponds to its essence and content. "Himno" is, first of all, not a calm and not a peaceful platformer. Yes, there are no enemies, but the only factor of death that is here(water below) in accordance with the very miniature size of everything on the screen + total darkness + a little unresponsive control + complete zeroing of levels with death... does not AT ALL contribute to "peaceful relaxation". The further you go, the more pressing is that if you die due to the fact that the character has jumped to the side against your command, you will start from the beginning, from the 1st level.
    Nevertheless, the game is colorful, juicy and sounds nice. For a while, jumping through the levels, collecting experience shards and various small bonuses is interesting... but that's all. There is no story, even in the notes, there is no goal (only if you knock out achievements). I think for a small free game that is made quite suitable and deserves attention as, 7 from 10 is a normal rating... I see it like... for example, like some student in game design project posted their game for testing to the steam public.    … Expand

    Es tranquilo pero nada mas, tenemos una espada (pero no la podemos usar), acumulamos niveles (que no sirven prácticamente para nada mas que elEs tranquilo pero nada mas, tenemos una espada (pero no la podemos usar), acumulamos niveles (que no sirven prácticamente para nada mas que el placer de sentir un progreso totalmente falso), tampoco tenemos ni idea de que hacer, solo es pasear buscando experiencia con una música relajante, es solo eso, para pasar el rato esta bien, pero no va mas haya.

    La única motivación para jugarlo es buscar un poco de tranquilidad y relajación.

    Lo que me chirria es eso de tener un personaje con una espada (que aparece en la portada) para en la descripción jactarte de que no hay muertes como si fuera algo positivo (que no lo es, los elementos que prometes deben tener una función o de lo contrario no deben estar ahí) con esto también podrían aparentar ser vanguardista, que no, tampoco lo son, esto es una subversión que no atrae para nada y desde mi punto de vista se podría decir que es algo pretenciosa, del tipo "Hagamos un juego para que la gente se relaje pero pongamos un arma que no se pueda usar" una idea sin ninguna función mas que para jactarse ser diferente de los demás de una forma totalmente innecesaria, diferenciar tu producto del de los demás por algo que no puede hacer el jugador no es la mejor opción, es mejor aportar que quitar.

    Supongamos que comparo este juego con uno que en su portada muestra notas musicales para luego en la descripción decirnos que no tiene sonido, seria una subversión estúpida (como la de este juego).

    La banda sonora es un buen ejemplo de lo que digo, es muy relajante e incluso se da el lujo de contar con momentos muy esporádicos y poco frecuentes donde se hace una pequeña tensión (mínima), pero sin sacarte del todo de la comodidad, eso es lo que destaca esta obra, su banda sonora, no el "Tienes una espada pero no hay Muertes", eso no aporta nada, la banda sonora si.

    PD para los desarrolladores: Una mejor subversión seria que en vez de "te damos una espada pero no la puedes usar" sea "te damos una espada pero no la querrás usar" siendo no se, que los npcs que aparezcan (en principio se deberían agregar) nos regalen experiencia y demás haciendo que el jugador no quiera matarlos, esa es una buena subversión.    … Expand
