Sep 27, 2022Hokko life falls flat in almost all it wanted to do. The game is slow and needlessly grindy. The quests, along with the grind, end up being buggy. The core gameplay is simplistic, mindless and boring, while the loading screens are also irritating. If you are looking for a good Animal Crossing clone, this is not it.

Sep 26, 2022Hokko Life, from developer Wonderscope, is another game in the farming and life simulator genre. As is expected players can plant trees and flowers, catch butterflies, go fishing, interact with fellow residents, etc. While Hokko Life does manage to capture a much more laid-back and pressure-less atmosphere than some other games, it is still difficult for it to step out of the shadow of a particularly popular game in the same genre.
