    Hyper Scape manages to perfectly combine the past and the future of online shooters. The Battle Royale genre has a new, fierce and extremely fun competitor.

    Hyper Scape proposes some good ideas within its genre. The fusion of weapons and hacks works really well and makes exploration make sense within the beautiful city of Neo Arcadia. Its fast-paced action and scenes rich in verticality and hot spots are undoubtedly its greatest attractions. Rotating game modes invite the community to return and others may be drawn to its 'ghost mode' resuscitation and assist system. However, those who come from other similar experiences may not feel completely linked to Ubisoft's proposal, of which only time and its seasons will be able to tell if it is a success or not.

    Hyper Scape is an absolutely fine game that I think would have been huge if it would have come out earlier. It does a lot of things right and not much overly wrong. Instead, it suffers from an overwhelming sense of familiarity that doesn’t present much of a reason for people to play it over more established games in the genre. Even in the most crowded fields, there’s always room for another title to come and carve out a niche, but I don’t see many compelling arguments to jump ship for Hyper Scape.

    We've seen Ubisoft snatch victory from the jaws of "somewhat underwhelming" before: maybe they can do it again.

    We will keep an eye on how Hyper Scape evolves, but the first impression has not been entirely good even when it has some interesting, fresh and original ideas that can push the genre forward.

    i had so much fun playing this game and it feels very polished and season 1 is looking great with the content and all i am open for what comes next!

    Not a fan of Battle Royales but this game is super fun. You are rewarded with finding duplicates so your scavenging time is not wasted. YouNot a fan of Battle Royales but this game is super fun. Playing through this game though, it is clear this battle royal cannot compete with the likes of Apex, War Zone, Fornite, or PUBG. In a growing field of battle royals, Hyper Zone does not have any real identity that sets it apart. It feels generic with nothing really exciting that makes you want to come back for more. Their niche is power ups dropped through out the map. Random drops doesn’t make up for the boring play.

    The combat mechanics are very poor. The balance between weapons isn’t great and often you will feel cheated when you die. This is the only game that getting the drop on someone, doesn’t give you an advantage. There is a single drop point every player flies from, opposed to a ship, plane, or bus flying traveling over the map. It is weird for a battle royal to go this route, because the traditional mechanic of a sky vehicle taking the players worked very well.

    This game will not gain much popularity unless there is a huge over hall. For a free game, it’s not worth the bandwidth to download.    … Expand

    Game with huge implementation of twitch. Twitch viewers can actually ruin your game if you are so unfortunate to play with some streamer.
