  • Summary: ICEY is a 2D side-scrolling ACT and a META game in disguise. As you follow the narrator's omnipresent voice, you will see through ICEY's eyes and learn the truth about her world. The narrator will constantly urge you in one direction, but you must ask, "Why? Why am I following his directions?

    Icey is a fantastic combination of a great slasher and intriguing story, with original narration. It could seem strange at first glance, but it's a great game, unique and engaging.

    Groovy, sarcastic and pleasantly crazy. Icey is basically an action-filled spiritual successor to The Stanley Parade.

    If you’re looking for something challenging and a little different to lose yourself in for a few hours, ICEY is super cool. Puns absolutely intended.

    I’m pretty fond of ICEY. The combat could (and should) be better but I enjoyed my time with it, and appreciated its willingness to whip out the sort of unexpected, bizarre narrative twists that most games don’t even consider.

    Even at the moment of the game, half of the match saw a sight that surprised narrator says: Oh my god. why i forgot to complete here?
    And he transfer you to another area.

    So, if you want to see the game world through the lens of a game maker, I recommend this game to you.    … Expand

Story aside (can't really say much without spoilers), the gameplay is very challenging and satisfying. Pulling off combos feels great and you feel like a badass after every fight is won. The combat system has depth, but it's not so complex that you end up forgetting about any mechanics or whatnot. Also the game has a damn good soundtrack which comes free with purchase (as does some additional content via a free DLC called UCEY's awakening). Not to mention, the price is affordable, which is always a plus.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A really nice designed action game! Really loved the combat system which has elements of devil may cray and bayonetta. Also lenjoyed the nice graphics. So why a seven? Because this game is way too short. I was able to complete it in less then two hours. Also the story could have been worked out a little bit better. But all the minor negative notes aside you should try it out because its a good game!… Expand
