For just $15, you get a couple of dozen hours of mostly enjoyable Diablo-styled hacking and slashing that is just well crafted enough to make you overlook the lunacy of the story and the aggravation of the bugs.

Taking into consideration that a small studio like Grinding Gear Games is able to offer a great game like Path of Exile for free, you can't help but look at Iesabel as an ugly money grab for a unfinished game. Only the biggest fans of the genre could be persuaded to play it, but they'd be doing it at their own risk. Everyone else - stay away. Competitors are much better than Iesabel in every possible way.

Amazing graphics, enjoyable game-play. These devs do a good job on their games. And i'm entusiastic to see what other games they will create in the future!! More shovelware sadly, valve really need to get their act together.
Where to start, I guess I'll give the intro video a mention, it has horribly forced lines and doesn't really explain much, sure the animation style was nice, but that's about it.
Moving swiftly onto the 'create a character' screen. You are presented with two choices of character; witch (ranged magic attacks) and barbarian (non-ranged melee attacks), that's it.
After that the game drops you into the thick of things, bollock naked (well, you do get your underwear, though a fat lot of good that'll do you seeing as all the loot is randomised) with a lovely box full o' text telling you that you have to find someone and do something.
After that it introduces you to the controls; WASD to move, you think? Think again, you're going to be controlling your movement with the mouse in this game, you get to use WASD to fire off your spells/swing your swords. Real intuitive (protip; there's a reason all games use WASD to move; it fukken works)
I didn't play much more after this, I just played long enough to hear the horribly forced dialogue of "I'm getting rich" (which is probably what the developers say every time someone buys this crap) every goddamn time I pick up some gold.
I feel violated, I think I need to have a shower and scrub my skin off.

I bought this game on steam, as the graphics looked quite nice, but I couldn't spend more than 5 minutes playing this game. Ok, if you have a small budget, you can't compete with other big companies, but not using the well known mouse controls is kind of un-understandable. It is not possible to attack with the mouse, instead you have to use the keyboard. The routefinding ist just horrible and animations of the character are very poor. Finally, items of the inventory are not used automatically, e.g. the key I had to look for. I was making the round for five times, till I found out, that I already have the key, but it just wasn't used when clicking the door.
I play a lot of hack'n'slash games, but I don't know what else you can do wrong here. Also not pointing out, that the well known controls (attacking with the left mouse button) are not supported is just sad. Don't buy, get Torchlight or Titan Quest instead or wait for Grim Dawn.

I've played diablo clones before but nothing on this level of BAD, it's absolutely disgusting that Steam would even allow such a terrible mess to be release on their platform. Where do I even start, graphics are 13 years out-dated at the least, messy color scheme that can't decide between grim and colourful, with clunky horribly 3d models. The sound is a mess of buzzing and ripping that shreds eardrums and speakers alike, the dialogue is horribly monotonous with a few robotically pronounced lines. Control-wise it's aberrant you expect to be able to shoot with your mouse... think again.... the completely new revolutionary bash four keyboard buttons to attack, including the basic attack. Interface, better scape your eyes out now before you see it a single menu with tabs for everything, items show no stats until you click on them and then click on them again to close the comparison pop-up, and it looks like a school project the fonts are completely out of line with the graphics. How about the game-play you ask? NO!!! JUST NO!!! Turn back now you can choose from a total of TWO classes, with 9 personal skills and 9 shared skills out of which most are passive. The first items that drop are 5-6 levels above you ...so you go around naked getting killed by mob groups that spawn randomly in numbers larger than two. Sometimes you can't pick up items of the ground because it's buggy as hell, some mobs drop chests whit nothing relevant in them, although there are chests around to be opened just so that you click more to get horribly looking irrelevant loot.

I can't cover everything that's bad with this game in this review... I am usually very tolerant even toward lower budget games but this is on a whole new level of TERRIBAD in absolutely ALL directions NOTHING IS DONE NEARLY CLOSE TO A STANDARD ACCEPTABLE LEVEL.
