    EXCELLENT game ! Drawings are beautiful, dialogue superb, great story (the book was great), and choices matters. For this price, I'd recommend this game with my eyes closed ! Go for it !

    And thank you Daedalic for this great game !

    Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth is beautifully executed with gorgeous graphics and art style, compelling sound effects and good voice acting that make an already engaging story even more immersive. It's is slow in a good way, carefully pulling you in by switching various characters and weaving their stories together.     Amazing story where your choices matter. You really can learn things from about life from this game.
    Also very beautiful art and sound.

    The Name of the Rose like atmosphere, classic point&click adventure without tedious and illogical puzzles. Beautiful 2D graphics and interesting plot based on a great book.

    My best purchase in 2017.
    I watched the movie, read the book and just couldn't but try the game.
    Great storytelling, interesting artstyle. Perfect game for such price.

    This game was clearly made with lots of love. The graphics are so well done and atmospheric, the german voiceover is excellent and the best thing is the story and the characters. Jack and Aliena for example are so cute, they made me cry several times (and I am a man!!!).

    I could not stop playing and I have to say that this little game has a WAY better story than Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which is a shame for Ubisorft.

    Do not expect a complete adventure here, it is quite simple but good. This game is really about the story. Like reading a book and doing some simple tasks in between.

    So if you are interestied in the middle age of England and looking for a compelling story with deep characters, I can really recommend it!    … Expand

    First of all, I must admit that the soundtrack is amazing! If you are into Point & Click games then you should definitely play this game. The story is amazing which is based on Ken Follett's award-winning novel... I really advise this game. 15hrs on record.

    Outstanding story and atmosphere. i read three books and watched the film but game was better than all of them definitely a masterpiece.

    The 20-plus hour commitment to The Pillars of the Earth is well worth it to enjoy this interactive towering tale, faithfully adapted to near-perfection by Daedalic. For patient gamers, this is not a narrative adventure that should be missed.

    A great adaptation of Ken Follett's Pillars of the Earth. Daedalic focused on narrative rather tan puzzles, but the game is very enjoyable due to rich characters and strong story.
