  1. Just the right mix of graphics, sound and strategy to make for an entertaining evening of orc-bashing.
  2. Ultimately, while Kingdom Under Fire might be considered a Korean homage to Blizzard, there’s plenty here to enjoy in its own right.

I could criticize KUF for an overall lack of spirit, but beyond this nebulous quality, there are some real concrete problems with the game. First and foremost, the game is too hard.
  4. No better than the sum of its parts. The real-time strategy mode recycles ideas from Warcraft II and the role-playing levels do the same, only with Diablo. The potential for success is certainly present, but a number of issues arise throughout the game, among them a lack of a save game feature.
  5. Die-hard real-time strategy fans may find something to like in Kingdom Under Fire, but everyone else might as well keep waiting for Blizzard's next big hit.

A thin game that is sometimes fun, but mostly routine, and with less depth and imagination than the great games it is copying.
  7. Since the entire title is built around the concept of gradual character development through combat, the lack of a save option instantly nullifies any and all value that the innovation might have brought.

Its an awesome game, although some people say its built around characters, well no its not. its built around evenly, and the graphics are Its an awesome game, although some people say its built around characters, well no its not. its built around evenly, and the graphics are good, same with sound. The save is good how it is, cuse how on the first KUF you can save after or on the map thats how a good strategy game should be. KUF doesn't come close to coping the so called "Warcraft II"' and 'Diablo." In WC2 and diablo u do not control a company of units, and in those game u dont choose your jobs for your soldiers. The plains are 3d not 2d, sorry to bust your bubble...Plus it does not have a lack of AI, if you want to talk about a lack of AI, try Starcraft. Yes, the in game save is still not ready (soon we're told), but despite this I loved this game. Good graphics and great game play...
