Lead your people: a small group of refugees who were forced to start again on an unknown island. Terraform and shape the land and expand with houses, pastures, orchards, farms, windmills and many other buildings. Forage in the forest, hunt for prey, grow crops and domestic animals for food. As Winter creeps up, ensure you stock up with enough firewood, charcoal and warm clothes to survive, and remember: a lack of vitamins in good rations may lead to disease and could even totally wipe out your village! With its leisurely pace and relative lack of scripted drama, Life is Feudal: Forest Village is a pleasantly relaxing way of getting involved in the minutiae of everyday medieval life, but don't expect to immediately understand or master its systems. It can feel a little directionless at times and is definitely geared towards detail-oriented players who enjoy the challenges of both moment-to-moment micromanagement and long-term planning. Forest Village has itself continued to evolve from early access to full release and it will be interesting to see how the mod community adds content and shapes the game.

It's a doppelganger of Banished - the same ideas, but with less polish and oversimplified.

Enjoyable, but lazy : few musics, simple graphisms with a pretty but useless first person mode.

BUT... there is mod support ! And it was well implemented, as if the developers did let the community finish the game !

With mods, the game is great, you can adjust it to your own convenience : you want small settlements, you have smaller versions of each building of the game.

You want knew but not game-breaking buildings ? Here you go !

Not the best medieval builder ever, but fine and pleasant.

Also still buggy Expand

Far too buggy to be a worthy successor to Banished. Could have been the next best thing but still riddled with core game-breaking bugs. IfFar too buggy to be a worthy successor to Banished.
