    Those looking for some kind of challenge will not find satisfaction in Little Orpheus, which however, as at the time of its debut, remains an indie gem to which at least the admirers of narrative-based platform games, and of "sci-fantasy" stories in particular, they should not turn their backs at all. Humor and wonder come together to perfection in the latest effort of The Chinese Room, returning a brief but full of surprises experience, which on living room screens relives in an imperfect but content-wise form, certainly to be privileged when in the future it will be allowed to come out.

    If you think storytelling is more important than gameplay then you should definitely give this 4-hours long "comedy series" a chance. Just don't expect too much in terms of gameplay.

    Little Orpheus is an extremely short game. I suspect that most gamers will complete it in four or five hours. Being primarily a story-focused game, Little Orpheus has little to offer the player in replay value. There are no challenges to master, and no skills to perfect. The game does offer a new game plus mechanic in the form of The Lost Recordings, but this expansion is so pitiful that the developers might as well have not bothered with it.

    Simplicity and mobile origin (at first, Little Orpheus was released on iOS) can be drawbacks but they don’t have to be. If you struggle in hardcore platformers and value challenge less than a fun narrative and picturesque environments, you may enjoy this game.

    If you like Verne, Wells or some such, pick this up and let it send you back to your childhood. Absolutely wondrous, funny and relaxing.

    First thing First, if you want a platforming or puzzle game this is not for you, this is a very simple walking simulator, and as one it worksFirst thing First, if you want a platforming or puzzle game this is not for you, this is a very simple walking simulator, and as one it works really well, the world is done well, the dialogs are done clean and world looks really good and can make you giggle time to time with some simple humor there are some audio stuttering even with fixed FPS, but there is no bugs from what I saw.

    it is a simple, good looking, walking simulator with good sounds track, that can help you just don't think of anything for 3 (to 6 for unlocking rewards and skins) hours the only draw backs is that the price of 12 dollar might be a little to much (the sales are around 8) so think about your wallet before buying it, I don't like thinking about the price when doing reviews that's why I gave it 8 (7 otherwise)

The dialogues are amazing, and the Russian accent voice overs are perfect. You have 3 commands for jump, slide and interact. Nothing fancy or hard, but it's in the mentality of the game. The graphics are really good but you have to remove chromatic aberration. The music is superb. There is no combat per say. I give it 82%. The game is worth the small price it demands, at least for it's fun story and a game well done.… Expand

    -only good was music, different location and game have a final boss.
