The game itself has almost no hand holding whatsoever. The best you can find is a few notes scattered around, some of them provide important clues that hint you at how you should progress, but basically you still have to figure out pretty much everything by yourself.
Lumber Island - That Special Place is relatively short if you know where to go and what to do, and pretty much the most annoying part is the first chapter, which has a death threat that walks around, hindering your exploration constantly. And if you take into consideration that there are two key items you need to find that have variable spawn places... well... it can really take a while.
The story isn't very... perceptible, or even logical in the slightest, but I liked how the puzzles teased my brain to make me work out my way through the game.
All in all, it was a good experience, definitely worth the couple of bucks I paid for it. I'm giving this a 7.0… Expand
