PC GamerIf you're dying for an excuse to play as a sniper, or you have $20 you're itching to spend, Marine Sharpshooter II certainly isn't the worse budget military game we've ever played. [Oct 2004, p.95]
-
Enemy AI, environmental inconsistencies, and narrow alleys of opportunity brought the game down from its solid play design.
-
Then there's the control scheme, a horribly innovative design where you can't simply toggle the scope with the right mouse button and zoom in and out with the scroll wheel.
-
Presents itself as a value title but in truth its really not a value title, just a very bad game.
-
There isn't much reason to continue playing once you've finished the second, kind-of-good mission. And honestly, there isn't much reason to even do that. Still, there's a germ of a good idea here.
