  1. No heartfelt sense of victory remained after the beauty pageant had ended. A more comprehensive motocross biking game might have included racing, not just freestyle.
  2. A terrific simulation. It requires great reflexes, knowledge of the courses you are running, and quick decision-making – especially when the clock is ticking down on your attempt, and you are behind in points.
  3. There's probably no single feature of Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX that could be considered exceptional, but that isn't a prerequisite for a game to be fun or addicting--and the PC version of Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX is both.

A mixed bag. While the action can be intense at times, the bugs make the game more frustrating than it has to be.
  5. PC Gamer
Adding to the frustration is that too often you’ll crash when landing, even though you’re lined up perfectly with the ramp. [Holiday 2001, p.62]
  6. Breezy, lightweight entertainment at best. As a quick coffee break-style diversion, the product succeeds well enough.
  7. Computer Gaming World
The game was pretty fun—for about two levels. After that, MHPBMX began to feel way too repetitive. [Jan 2002, p.118]

Great game; very entertaining and addictive. Fun levels, cool players and gear, nice to be able to customize bikes and create your own parks.
