Mechanic Escape is a 2D platform that knows how to tantalize the player with a good level of difficulty. Also, the price is very competitive and the fun is guaranteed.

Boasting highly chore-like qualities, it is nowhere near worth the low price of admission.

Mechanic escape is a fast paced 2D platformer where you rush through levels collecting TVs. There is no story to the game and, as far as I canMechanic escape is a fast paced 2D platformer where you rush through levels collecting TVs. There is no story to the game and, as far as I can tell, there is no point in collecting the TVs. The most important part of a platformer is its controls. The controls for Mechanic escape are terrible. They are floaty and often too sensitive for the ridiculous tasks you will have to do. I admit, the game was quite fun for the first 30-40 levels. Then you get to the second half of the game and the levels just become annoying and sometimes even luck based. In every level you get chased by a boss that you can't kill which makes you have to go as fast as possible through the level. The problem with this is that your view is so small that you often can't even tell what's coming up ahead so the game gets reduced to trial and error type play. It's frustrating, annoying, and not fair at all. Mechanic Escape had promise, but the developer fell flat on their face in the execution. Expand
