I’d highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a funky new spin on an old classic, but I would particularly recommend Melody’s Escape to anyone who really enjoys listening to and engaging with music. It’s certainly a new kind of experience that I, for one, found engrossing.

The game itself is nothing special and woefully basic outside of all the pretty colors. The ability to port your own music is an appreciated touch, but in the end the game is nothing special when compared to others of its type - and that's ok, I don't think it was trying to be groundbreaking.
If you're into rhythm games, pick this one up when its on sale.
