    Metal: Hellsinger is a raunchy fest that combines frenetic demon slaying with heavy metal of the highest caliber. It is an extremely fun adventure that promises to stimulate all the cognitive skills of the modern gamer. It's a game your parents would never let you play.

    If you like Metal and fast paced shooter-games like Doom, Quake or Unreal Tournament, but without Multiplayer components, then this is your game. The movement is great, the rhythm based shooter gameplay feels fresh and the soundtrack is a blast! You can forget about the story, and if you search for secrets or special areas in the levels, you won´t find any. It´s all about the action and the music which is awesome. We can´t get enough of it.

    If you enjoyed BPM: Bullets Per Minute, you must know that Metal: Hellsinger is better in every aspect. It’s stellar soundtrack alone is worth checking out, but it’s not the game’s only advantage, because it’s also got great pace, well-designed mechanics and hellishly satisfying gunplay. But why is the campaign so short?!

    Thoughts-
    Metal: Hellsinger is one of those rare games that I’d recommend to just about anybody… as long as they like metal. That’s going to be the only real downside; if you’re not a fan of metal music, you’re not going to find much to enjoy in a game literally titled Metal: Hellsinger. It plays fantastically, looks great while not getting things too muddled in detail, and most importantly, its music is phenomenal. Seriously, I can’t wait for this game’s soundtrack to become available; it’s the kind of music that’ll live in one of my playlists forever.    … Expand

    + Bem desafiante, tanto nas missões principais, quanto nos desafios extras, para adquirir novas habilidades;
    + As armas são bem diferentes umas das outras, tanto no dano base quanto na habilidade especial;
    + Nem muito curto, nem muito grande, se considerar apenas as fases de história;
    + As camadas nas músicas, quanto mais se acerta, mais instrumentos tocam e a camada final tem os vocais;

    PONTOS NEGATIVOS:
    + As fases são divididas em pequenas arenas, onde se combate hordas de inimigos, com o tempo fica um pouco enjoativo;
    + As batalhas contra os chefes também não mudam muito, cause dano no chefe numa etapa, enfrente uma horda na outra, repita até o final.    … Expand

    Много различных инструментов, широкий диапазон вокала, от чистого до скрима. Все это красиво и круто.
    Но для ритм шутера это страшно. Из-за такого обилия элементов ты банально не слышишь барабаны, в бит которых тебе нужно стрелять, чтобы наносить хоть какой-то урон. Ты больше смотришь на индикаторы рядом с прицелом, чем слушаешь музыку, чтобы хоть как-то попадать в бит. А от этого как бы теряется основной смысл игры. Доставляло это массу неудобств.
    Для сравнения можно взять тот же Bullets Per Minute, в котором музыка гораздо менее нагружена элементами, где бит барабанов выходит на первый план и очень легко считывается. Таких проблем как в Хеллсингере у меня там ни разу не было.
    Визуал максимально дефолтный. Ничего интересного, кроме дизайна главных героини и злодейки я тут не увидел.
    Оптимизация достаточно посредственная. DLSS нет. На своей 2060 в 1440р мне пришлось играть на минималках, чтобы выжать из игры более-менее стабильные 60 фпс в 99%. И то они почему-то на глаз ощущались как фпс 45-50, из-за чего каждый уровень-два я делал перерыв. Давал глазам отдыхать.
    Как шутер игра так себе. Дизайн уровней просто приемлемый, не вызывающий особо никаких эмоций, но и проблем тоже. Импакт у оружия впринципе чувствуется, но в основном за счет музыки. Хотя тут на меня еще повлияло, что я в бит попадал только в 40% случаев.
    Боссфайты мерзотнейшие. Мало того, что это из раза в раз один враг с парочкой новых умений. Так еще и атаки их почти не телеграфируемы. Когда они начинают швыряться фаерболами куда-то в потолок, или тебе за спину, ты вот вообще не понимаешь, куда тебе там надо отпрыгнуть, чтобы этого урона избежать. Из-за чего ловишь кучу дешевого урона а так же дикую фрустрацию. Не говорю уже о том, что никакого отхила во время боссфайтов не предусмотрено.
    Во время обычных перестрелок ты можешь отхиливаться через добивания врагов. Тут же только один враг, потому хп доставать почти неоткуда. У тебя нет никакой возможности отыграть свои хп назад, после всех этих нечестных, не телеграфируемых атак. И это бесит до неистовства.
    В итоге получается уныленький шутер категории B. Если бы не саунтрек и, в частности, не финальный боссфайт. Эпичнейший финальный босс файт под вокал Сержа Танкяна. То я бы поставил крепкую 5. Но музыка до 7 вытянула. Есть ощущение, что на всех этих известных вокалистов основная часть бюджета и ушла.    … Expand
