The Bearded Ladies is experienced in the turn-based tactics genre and Miasma Chronicles shows it convincingly, with the studio trademark mix of stealth and tactic providing an engaging approach to most combat situations (sometimes the enemies will get the drop on you. Life isn’t fair). A pity for a climax that is perhaps too sudden, and a plot that isn’t as good as the atmosphere.
Miasma Chronicles knows how to seduce players by highlighting its strengths while hiding its few gray area (still... they do exist). Miasma Chronicles is a real kick-ass new IP.

My rating.
The game is a tactical RPG and not a frantic action game, as it is usually the case lately. I personally liked the game very much and a few minor flaws didn't deter me. The main thing is fun and I am greatly entertained.

Miasma Chronicles skillfully merges intense turn-based tactical combat, stealth mechanics, and rewarding exploration, dresses them up in a compelling world and narrative, and makes the result accessible to a broad audience.
An atmospherically dense, but narratively weak tactical game that can't
hold a candle to its outstanding predecessor, Mutant Year Zero.
Miasma Chronicles is another solid release from Bearded Ladies, who are quite comfortable with their fusion of turn-based tactics with a narrative element. The studio has already become an expert at playing defense, and has a case for venturing further on offense. Miasma Chronicles is a good starting step for newcomers and an interesting offering for veterans, even if it doesn't innovate, but it doesn't try either.
While I’m enjoying Miasma Chronicles, I don’t think it’s one I’m going to stick with. There are too many moments where the deck feels stacked against me in combat, and there aren’t many ways to get on par with the difficulty curve, let alone get ahead of it. The developers get very close to something great here, but there’s something off in their formula and it’s just not clicking in a way that feels satisfying.
A serviceable tactics game lumbered with an uninspiring setting and narrative, brought right down by bigoted stereotypes.
Excellent game! The graphics were good, loved the gameplay! made me look forward in playing it daily.
I miss it was longer.

This is a badly design stategy game , some of the pieces are there but they are **** the wrong places. Its incredibly shallow , there no real progression and it all feels badly designed and overwhrlmig. The final nail is the massive dificulty spike. For the first few hours your fighting a fair and ballanced 4 to 5 ememies of differing strengths. Then in one chapter change your suposed to be able to beat squads of 15 to 20 enemies the majority of which have high power. And rhatson standard difficulty.
