The randomization of Krypt rewards and the odd issue with the game's always-online nature can occasionally chip away at your patience, but Mortal Kombat 11 absolutely hits where it matters.

I am not a huge fan of bloody violence, but I am still attracted by MK11's beautiful art style, great graphics, interesting game systems, and tons of game modes, including a very detailed teaching mode. No doubt it is the best of the whole series.

Mortal Kombat 11 is a worthy successor to the long-time series and one of the best and most complete fighting games in recent years. Sure, the tactics surrounding microtranscations and the extensive grinding that is implicitly required for anyone who wants to unlock everything, reduce the overall value of the game, fortunately without being irreparably affected.

All in all, Mortal Kombat 11 is a great package, and nicely fleshed out with a ton of content and modes for both the casual fighting game players like myself and the hardcore community who want to get stuck into the online battling. The heavy involvement of microtransactions can be an annoyance, for sure, but there's more than enough to get busy with to help beat the grind.

There are a number of Beat ’em Ups on the market, but nothing compares to Mortal Kombat. If you like the exaggerated splatter effects like me, you will always feel this special tension in the fights, because the next head could roll or organs could fly around. I'm quite surprised by the story mode, I wouldn't have expected such a high level. The six hours or so entertained me wonderfully, also because the combat system is well-developed and fair. Tower and online modes can't quite reach the campaign's high bar. Nevertheless, Ed Boon and his team have once again succeeded in creating a great Beat ’em Up that will captivate me for a long time to come.

Mortal Kombat 11 is excellent if you’re in it for the story, and a solid fighting game underneath as well, but the experience is marred by rough edges. Given the state of NetherRealm’s last few games on PC, I’m not sure we could’ve expected much more. If anything, this is an improvement.

As it is, this game is unacceptable. Almost every menu you navigate, you are prompted with a "connecting to server" modal dialog. If theAs it is, this game is unacceptable. Almost every menu you navigate, you are prompted with a "connecting to server" modal dialog. If the connection drops, you lose access to single player content. The game uses a terrible grind system to entice people to buy content with microtransactions. The developers have said that "they are working on a fix", but their fix is to fudge the numbers somewhat to make the grind a little bit easier, not remove the grind completely. But that is the only fix. Remove consumables, remove assists, remove augments, remove random drops, remove randomization from the krypt.

The game also crashes here and there in the menus, which can cause data loss.

Until all these things are fixed (and let's be honest, they never will be), I cannot recommend this. It's a shame, because I like the story and the core fighting mechanics are good.

It's like paying 50 EUR to play a bugged alpha demo version of a game. I asked for refund. Garbage

The Story was good for a Fighting game and the graphics , fatalities , combat is spot on.
But other than that the game is a **** Devs do not give a damn about PC version since we are like 2 or 3 patches behind , unable to make progress since towers are broken and the economy is extremely sluggish. Do not buy the game , boycott it , or wait until its 10$ on a secondary market site.
The game is not a 0/10 , but my review , and i believe most peoples review is just to send a message , so they do not try to pull something like this again.

I'm leaving a bad review only based on the attitude that NRS and WB gave to the PC players.
First, they announced that the game will be available at the same time as all other platforms, but then we, PC gamers and Steam users, needed to wait another 20 hours just to play the game. 20 hours of waiting, trying to avoiding spoilers and your favorite streamers who play the game just not to ruin your first expression of the game. 20 hours of watching people play the game and enjoy it, having fun, and sharing experience. That's all happening while we need to wait 20 hours. I'm not even touching the subject of two betas that were not available on PC, which is totally disrespectful towards PC players, and absence of classic characters, such as Milena, Ermac, Triborg, Reptile, and many-many more. We paid for the game that didn't even come out, we believed in you, and that's what we got back. A 20 hours gap.
    Thanks.
