MotoGP 23 is the qualitative leap that the Milestone series needed. We are not talking about revolutions, it would be unrealistic to think so, but about consistent improvements in all the characteristic aspects of the title, from the simulation verve through an engaging career, from a high-profile technical sector to the physical and mental sensations of the race, where the AI exhibits new behaviors although some issues still persist.
MotoGP 23 has added dynamic weather to make racing a whole new beast, and the Career mode is a solid feature to keep you hooked.

The basic layout of the game is the same again. Graphically ok, but sterile given whats possible these days. The lack of a proper story mode and/or rewards will keep the series a niche forever. The game tries to create life with lame ”tweets” from other riders and with uninteresting social relations smoke screen.
The physics are the best part of the game and offer much more depth and satisfaction than Ride 5. The enjoyment of the ride keeps bringing me back, while the rest of the game is standing still.
In addition to more content, I would finally like to see the some though put into the experience as whole. No telemetry still? Why couldn’t my time trial leaderboard rank be shown live on the hud? Why can’t i set a default setup? How about showing the loaded setup name in the pit menu? Warmup lap still cant be done like in RL. How about some actual team interaction regarding sector times, tire wear, bike handling? You know, racing stuff…

MotoGP 23 polishes the fantastic simulation of the saga in a little more with little new features and options for novice players; but it is a very continuous and conformist delivery that knows little. Only the biggest fans of motorcycling or players who have never experimented with the franchise will get a good performance out of it on the track.
The latest installment brings the entire season 2023 update and, as expected, some improvements in all aspects of the game, while new players get a couple of innovative help systems that may finally allow them to get a little more serious in this very demanding motorcycle simulator.
MotoGP 23 is not a game for everybody, and even the fans of arcade or semi-arcade racing will probably have a hard time enjoying it, even though there are improvements compared to last year's release, it still doesn't offer enough even for the simulation fans to jump on it right away.
MotoGP 23 is a completely competent motorbike racer that those who know and love the sport will likely get all the enjoyment out of it that they can hope for. A fabulous customisation system and best-in-class racing mechanics mean there is very little competition out there right now. However, a lack of beginner-friendly tutorials keeps this game from being enjoyable to the masses. It’s a sim racer by design, and as such, casual fans are better off looking elsewhere.
Motorcycle enthusiasts take note, with MotoGP 23 we are replaying the most important motorcycle championship. This in a traditional way similar to previous parts. The AI has improved and the addition of sprint races and dynamic weather, as well as LiveGP does the game justice. Yet we also have to deal with a new accessibility system that is not well balanced, the game can crash and the AI is just a little too good making it unrealistic. That being said, MotoGP 23 offers a lot of content to enjoy.
In spite of the improvements in career mode and the addition to dynamic weather (the latter being and annoyingly long-awaited feature), the lack of classical bikes and riders and a story mode (something like Season 09 in MotoGP 22) makes this a disappointing iteration of the series. Sure, it's nice to have new objectives in career mode (a game mode that has been largely overlooked throughout the series) and the flag-to-flag races can add a strategic factor in some cases. But Season 09 was the highest point in the entire franchise and I was hoping to see a follow-up of that mode in the new game. And not being able to race with Vale, Doohan, Hayden, Stoner, Biaggi or Barros is very sad.

Worst racing game I've ever played and one of the worst games I've ever played. Nothing in this games works properly, even the AI can't race it's that bad, they just constantly crash and go flying off the track. Unbelievably bad game. How anyone can give this anything other than a bad review is baffling.
