    Lamentum is equal parts frightening and enticing, serving up a scintillating world filled with Lovecraftian horrors and remnants of old school Resident Evil and Silent Hill. It is a must-play for any fans of the genre looking for challenging gameplay, deep mythos, and an alluring narrative.

An original interpretation of the Battle Royale genre that takes advantage of the classic strengths of the multiplayer experience with many players, but which innovates in key aspects such as the combat system.

    Naraka: Bladepoint does have a lot of cool and unique ideas for the battle royale genre. I love its melee-focused combat, I love the varied weapon selection, and I dig the durability system replacing the "limited ammo" functions of other games in the genre. However the game's longevity suffers due to becoming stale quickly, the lack of variance in the core gameplay loop rearing its ugly head quickly. It's the kind of game I would absolutely recommend to a friend, but only for one or two matches at a time. For long marathon sessions, there are far better options.

The combat and movement systems help keep everything feels absurdly fluid; the upgrades and hero customisation help you find a playstyle that fits you. It’s fun, but the technical issues need ironing out before it’s a whole-hearted must-play.

    Pro:
    -Great gameplay, suitable for the vast majority of players from basic to demanding skills, has an interesting melee combat system
    -Good graphics
    The gameplay is old (BR) but still interesting
    - Hero skills are well-balanced. Personally I prefer Kurumi, which is a healer character. Unlike other games, it emphasises the teamwork while the battle. The strong connection between the teamates fight together also amazes me.

    - Movement. Yes the map of NARAKA is pretty huge - but you could make yourself move faster by their grappling spools. Also the design of aiming your enemies by grappling spools also brings the
    enjoyment. You could use the target system to solve those enemies prefer lurking around.

But u will get destroyed by the VPN players from other regions, and that's frustrateing. even in Silver 4 u get to play in rank with top 100 players (all of them beeing Chinese with no life). It's fun to play, i don't really got problems with lag or frame-rate. in QP u get only bots ond 3-4 players (Chinese), in rank "only players with more then ur rank" and the rank sistem points are a mess.… Expand
