  1. A rather interesting game with a pretty good ideology behind it and a reasonable amount of gameplay within it. At times the game can be frustrating with some overly difficult battles but over all, it is a rather enjoyable experience and the way the missions are set up, it really is perfect for the casual gamer.

What's here is engaging and contains a compelling, in-depth story to complement the gameplay.
  3. Night Watch has plenty of big ideas, but the overall execution is lacking.

Mediocre turn-based vampire-battling from the Old Country. [Nov 2006, p.98]
  5. With so many options out there for RPG fans, I cannot bring myself to recommend this game to anyone. The storyline is annoying and the gameplay is slow, not even the graphics help the game any.
  6. The engine, while used well in previous titles, is a poor choice for this game. The linearity of the title is constricting and aggravating when it feels like there’s a big city full of Others waiting to be explored.

The whole thing plays out like some budgetware "Turn-Based Combat RPG for Dummies". [Oct. 2006, p.80]

If you enjoyed Silent Storm, or Fallout, but you wanted something more fantastic, here's your game. Good storyline, good gameplay. But If you enjoyed Silent Storm, or Fallout, but you wanted something more fantastic, here's your game. Good storyline, good gameplay. But since its about magic and not weapons, don't expect a lot of equipment. Only 3 character classes too. Expand

Rob E is high, and or has the taste of a crack whore in New York. If you enjoyed Fallout, you will want to crucify this "game" with a flaming spear.
