    Payday 2 is a Co Op game. While it might have benefitted with a cool story arc for a single player mode the game offers a great outing with 3 other friends for an experience that will keep having you come back for more. Payday is simply put the improved, polished and closest experience you’ll find to robbing an actual bank. It’s just legal.

    As it stands right now, Payday 2, while it won’t be for everyone, is a lot of fun. Although the stealth mechanics are basic, there’s enough strategic depth and teamwork required so that stealthing missions can be challenging, and extremely satisfying when successful.

    If you have some friends to play a shooter with, this is a great choice. It's not perfect, but is bigger and better than the previous one, which means even more fun.

    The bottom line is that I’m complaining because the action, the gunplay, the visuals, the demanding teamwork, the ultimate sense of gratification from leveling up and mastering the levels are all pretty much unparalleled, even if they could have been situated into a better gameplay structure. Payday 2 is a wonderful shooter that stands alone in a genre full of me-toos, wanna-bes, and coulda-beens.

    I couldn't ask for more out of a co-op game. Overkill have taken Payday 1 and given it steroids. That means more heists, more guns, moreI couldn't ask for more out of a co-op game.     Was once a good game but with updates and balances that continue to ignore player feedback along with many promises made to the community as aWas once a good game but with updates and balances that continue to ignore player feedback along with many promises made to the community as a whole in regards to updates and released features that have not and in no way been meet or talked about by developers. One such instance was the promise of safehouse customization which while in itself isn't much of a big deal the fact it was stated to be in the game and would be finished with the full release of the game which is now years ago has yet to be implemented. Now this is only one instance to display the disregard for promises and statements made by their own development crew in OFFICIAL statements. Along with the disappearance of a quarter of a million in prizes for last years paydaycon which the community still has no clue where it went. I loved payday and on release despite the heists lacked the same intense driven feel as the original I still loved payday 2 but after a while not only did the quality of updates in general go down but the avalanche of DLC content was carrying the same level of disappointing effort and no real quality to justify their price point. All in all as the game stands and the continued disregard for player input in favor of a more profit driven dlc fest has created a sadly broken game.… Expand

    I have been playing this game since day one. First night 8-10 hours with 3 of my best friends. Ever since the first DLC launched i had aI have been playing this game since day one. Ever since the first DLC launched i had a nagging suspicion that it would only continue and a single stop purchase game would eventually take advantage of me for enjoying it. And then it happened micro transactions on top of countless amounts of DLC. Dishonesty. Greed. and worst of all a level of condescension towards its most loyal fans. Shame on Overkill. and Shame on you if you buy it and support them.… Expand
