Phantasmal does have some great features, but they often feel rough and unpolished.
Full of potential, Phantasmal is a messy game that needs some serious fixing.
I want Phantasmal to be amazing, the idea behind it is wonderful. However, the game simply fails and does not live up to the promise.
Once the game begins and things actually have to be rendered in motion, the facade slips away and the game's unfortunate, misshapen, true form is revealed. Outside of the fantastically realized hallways and background details, everything else looks like trash.
