Nov 8, 2018Enjoy isometric computer roleplaying at its finest in The Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, the latest title to deliver RPG players a wholly immersive and satisfying experience away from the tabletop.
-
Oct 28, 2018Seeker, Slayer, Survivor is not only focused on combat, it is almost purely combat with very little else. If you are not a hardcore player who seeks to push the Watcher’s party to the limits and are more interested in the story than battles, this particular DLC might leave you with mixed feelings.
-
Mar 27, 2019While Seeker disappointed me, it finds some purchase in that it appeals to a different kind of player than myself, one who is interested in testing their skills in numerous battles.

Oct 24, 2018Pillar of Eternity II: Deadfire - Seeker, Slayer, Survivor is a DLC that feels as if it doesn't understand the strengths of the main game. Focusing mainly in okay-ish battles, and throwing role-playing out of the window, it's a hard title to recommend.

Nov 6, 2018I'm glad I played Seeker, Slayer, Survivor. This is an adequate DLC for an already phenomenal game. At the current $10 price point, I have a hard time recommending it for anyone but the most devoted Pillars fans, but chances are if you've bought and enjoyed Pillars II, as well as the Beast of Winter DLC, you're probably going to buy and enjoy this one as well. Perhaps waiting for a sale would be most appropriate, as it's certainly not going anywhere.
