    I'm gonna give this a 10 because not only is the game *bizarrely* amazing, but I hold it close to my heart. I've been keeping up this game's development for a few years now, and to see it finished after all this time makes me real happy. It really deserves more attention.

    Also, the music. The music makes this game a 10 on it's own, it's weird and frenetic and I loved every second of it.

    Just a perfect and well polished platformer 2D, with wacky 90's cartoon style, which has been missing for a long time. If you missed Wario Land series, or games like Earthworm Jim that you gonna love Pizza Tower.

    Literally one of the best 2d platformers I have ever played. The movement is incredible, the music is great, level design is one of the best, and the art style is fantastic. And to top it all off its only 20 bucks.

    Possibly my favourite 2D plataformer of all time. The gameplay is so swift and smooth it pratically makes you want to get better scores and master the art. The story is simple, but works incredibly well with the tone of the game and the artstyle, wich is another thing to point out it's incredible!     Fantastic platformer with tons of replayability. Pick this one up if you enjoyed 2d sonic momentum and Wario Land. (edit i am so sorry i did not mean to rate this a 0)

    polished like a diamond. incredible level design & gimmicks. music goes HARD. boss fights that are actually good (not always a guarantee). art style means the game is oozing (sometimes literally) with humor & charm. just short enough    wario land. sonic. metroid. ren & stimpy. courage the cowardly dog. some fresh new ideas (but like 70% wario land). what do these come together to create?

    Pizza Tower feels like the elements that make it weren't properly considered when the game was designed. For a game that describes itself as fast paced, it's absurd how labyrinthian the levels are, almost demanding you take your time. The boxy walls that are consistent in every stage really made every level feel the same, and the art style doesn't help, looking very rushed and unpolished All the level gimmicks like suits and rideable objects are boring, adding nothing but tiresome frustration as I have to spend my time backtracking for the sake of a single irritating obstacle. Most of these individual level gimmicks actually take away from your regular abilities or make your movement worse, which means if you want to keep going fast, you're gonna be trying to avoid these things for the most part. The game is preposterously easy, never punishing you properly for failure. If you run into a brick wall thousands of times, and have no consequences tied to it, you can eventually get through.

    So what do I like about this game? Well firstly, Peppino himself is extremely enjoyable to watch. His animations, while awkwardly drawn, do at least ooze with character. The controls are good, despite their lack of synergy with the levels they're used in, and the music has at least a couple of decent tracks, although I'd say most of the music I really don't like. At the end of the day I'm willing to at least give Pizza Tower a little bit of credit for the obvious amount of effort put into it, but as far as 2D platformers go, there's hundreds of better ones than this out there.    … Expand

I had to see what the fuss is all about, only to find out that this is nothing more than a generic 2D platformer. The pizzas with the red lips make annoying noises. The running animations are very cringeworthy. The pizza guy always makes incredibly cringeworthy faces. To make matter worse, there is a stupid TV on the right-top corner where the pizza guy makes even cringier faces. When you pass a level, there is music that is extremely cringeworthy. It is over-exaggerated and tries too hard to be upbeat in a pathetic attempt at making players excited when they win. It didn't make me excited in the slightest. All this cringe made me grab my monitor and slam it against the floor out of frustration.

    There is no multiplayer, but I didn't expect one at a cheap price. Did I say cheap? The greedy developers are charging $20 for a flash game. I immediately refunded this garbage after nearly 2 hours. I don't want to torture myself any further with this garbage. Besides, there are plenty of free flash games on the internet. I don't recommend this game at all, unless you like looking at cringeworthy faces literally every second.    … Expand

    An absolutely fast paced match make from heaven when it comes to fans of fast paced plat-former games. Super fun and absolute banger soundtrack and funny references too.

    An absolute blast of a game with a weird sense of humor, great gameplay, and lots of bonus challenges for the 100% completionist nutters out there. The soundtrack and sound design are also top notch and fun.

    Wanted a new Wario Land for a long time, but I don't think I even need one now after this. Please play this game if you haven't already, it's rare to get a new platformer that's as amazing as Pizza Tower anymore. I also never make genuine reviews on Steam so that alone should tell you how awesome this game is if I went out of my way to do it for once.

    This is a perfect game and my personal Game Of The Year. Incredible level design, movement, soundtrack and visuals. It is hard to imagine this concept being executed any better. 10/10

    it's so early in the year and pizza tower is already the best game of 2023 in my opinion, it's fast, funny, looks cool and is SUPER GOOD!
    if your a fan of Wario or Sonic or just fast pace in general then BUY this game!
    the soundtrack is also amazing!
    i hate giving out 10s because there is always something wrong but not with pizza tower.

If all humanity died out and we could only send one piece of media off of our dying rock I'd fight every world leader, every God and even the universe itself to let this remain. The fast paced platforming makes it nigh impossible to put down after starting, and the music will push you on. With fast, frantic sonic-the-hedgehog-style gameplay, make high combos as you go through unique level design stages taking all enemies in front of you in high combos. The game also never gets to the point of being nauseous, with new powers andPizza Tower is a magical 2d Platform game heavily inspired by the Spinoffs "Wario Land" from the mario franchise, but everything here is improved. With fast, frantic sonic-the-hedgehog-style gameplay, make high combos as you go through unique level design stages taking all enemies in front of you in high combos. The game also never gets to the point of being nauseous, with new powers and thematics for each stage. The songs, in addition to being addictive, are totally nineties, reminding you of a magical era of songs (especially 16-bit games). The animation is a work of art, with its golden age style of Cartoon Network. The animation recalls drawings such as Courage, the cowardly dog and Chowder. The game also has high references and easter eggs that did not even need to be there but are just to show the affection of the developers in putting every detail. only defect in this wonder were their controls that aren't so good at some boss fights, taking some unfair damage sometimes (or I'm bad lol). In short, one of the best indie platform I've ever played, and strongly recommend if you are not only a fan of Wario Land, but also platforms in general.

    This game is one of the most wacky, fast and pleasing on the eyes game I've ever played.
    Sure the game can get hard or tense, but it makes up for it with a kick-ass soundtrack. I spent a lot of time playing Wario land 3/4 on the game boy/game boy advanced and its good to see Tour De pizza make me feel like a child again. This Sonic/Wario game is one you dont want to miss!

    This is truly one of the best indie games of all time. The perfect example of an incredibly small team putting passion into something for years, with no experience creating something better than every triple a game that's came out recently. It's already come to critical success, being the first game to sell 1 pizzillion copies. Truly, the pizza, of all time.

    The levels have so much charm and fun mechanic to play around with . Each world has a boss , and the bosses ... They are phenomenal ! And i'm not gonna spoil but that final boss ... my god ! Banger music, some of these tracks are amazing. Peppino feels buttery smooth to control in an easy to learn but hard to master moveset. The animation is so fluid, and reminds me of an old nick cartoon. They really went out with thePizza Tower is Wario Land unhinged in the best way possible.     Pizza Tower is a very special 2D platformer that transcends its inspirations and becomes something even greater. It’s a short ride, and it’ll be most appealing to those who are keen to restart levels in an effort to improve their score, but even if that’s not you, there’s a ton to like here. It is one of the most straight up fun and refreshing platformers I’ve played in recent memory, sporting an unforgettably unique art style, excellent animations, immensely rewarding platforming, wonderfully creative level design, a joyful sense of humor, and one of the best soundtracks of the year so far. Move over Wario, Peppino Spaghetti is-a number one now.

    There is frankly no getting away from it. Pizza Tower is a fantastic platformer sporting some great levels, rock-solid gameplay, an amazing soundtrack, and brilliant animation. It quite possibly will be one of the best indie titles to release this year. And could be in the running for game of the year. However, as good as it is it can be repetitive at times and it could be too difficult for some.
