I’ve always felt PES was at its best as a couch-based multiplayer game, but it’s heartening to see such a robust online component.

As far as gameplay is concerned it's a huge step forward - and a step back for AI and graphics.

Still not as complex and technologically advanced as FIFA, but this is the best PES in years, the game fans were waiting for. Konami managed to resurrect the spirit of Pro Evo 6, but with modern visuals that are breathtaking at times. [13/2014, p.54]

PES 2015 is a step forward to the next gen football sims. The core gameplay mechanisms are well-balanced, resulting in the game to be a real fun to play and surely the best of the series until now.

The PC version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 is a letdown. PCs are being treated unfairly this year and gets only some of the new stuff (and not everything works the way it should!). The game will run smoothly even on older laptops but I don't think this was the goal - besides the game itself is clearly worse than its competitors and the next-gen version. Of course, you can see the changes and have fun, but that's not enough.

If FIFA 15 seemed too fast and felt wrong for no apparent reason, it’s likely that PES 2015 is your game. [Jan 2015, p.74]

If you have a console, get Pro Evo 2015 on that. If you’re a PC-only football fan, this is a functional if lacklustre port of a great match engine with broken online support.

PES2015 is a definite improvement. The gameplay is nice and fluid, and, although there are still some awkward animations, it makes for an excellent game of footie.

It plays exactly the same at the PS4 version, only the graphics are not as hi-res. However, they are perfectly fine for a football game. The people complaining about the graphics and lack of cut scenes make me laugh. The modders will make this a very special game.

It's all about the gameplays peeps, and in this department PES utterly destroys FIFA. Presentation has been improved and overall Konami seem to be going in the right direction. Plenty of room for improvement - nevertheless a solid basis to evolve and, most important, a lot of fun to play when you get the hang.

the great sunrise of PES 15
    ...............after...................
    long darkness of PES 14

Finally, I Uninstall PES 14 from my pc and install pes 15.

let's see.....what PES 15 give me this time....
    (1) A game play with decent balance (plz don't think u beat my KOMPANY easily).
    (2) Depth in players face.
    (3) Lots of real player in pes 15 (thanks for zabaleta and marcelo real face).
    (4) Numbers of national team in CAF, AFC, CONCACAF.
    (5) Second division (finally my wigan and leeds back in pes).
    (6) Create a manager. (that's i really like)
    (7) Real commentary name for epl and bundesliga. (in edit mode)
    (8) Finally give some respectful menu (not better than fifa but acceptable).
    (9) Stadium editor (less than I Expected, i just change colors of seats, sideline and turf pattern).
    (10) warsaw stadium, poland (but No wembley wow...., and what's the difference between san siro and giuseppe meazza.)

what PES 15 not give me...
    (1) My biggest issue is konami cut stadium entrance presentation, substitute and throw ball cut scene from pc and ps3 version. (why konami why...)
    (2) Konami do you have any problem with dortmund.
    (3) Commentary is harmful for my ear.
    (4) No complaint for licence stadium but give some fake or any small stadium for second divison and small club. (i don't want to play second division in big stadium like san siro and allianz arena)

The soundtrack is the best part, which sums up this barbaric attempt at simulating football. I have seen my GK head the ball in his own box from a chipped through ball with no one challenging him. The tackle system is abysmal, the only pressure option, no control over tugging, sticking a foot out. The slide tackle system slides for the players feet not the ball, you can’t slide to cover space and stop a pass, you let the pass go by and you take the players feet out. Not since Fifa 98 RTTWC have I had 3 matches abandoned for 5 red cards. No idea about AI, played local co-op. But I can only imagine it’s as woeful as there rest of the game. Nice tactical options, for shifting formations. The cut scenes look nice, and the players faces nicely modeled, shame about the rest of it. Expand

That coupled to terrible online servers and pirates playing online plus micro-transactions...

The gameplay alone can't save it, and it isn't even that good, because scripting is back in full force and a game between 2 veteran players will see an endless wave of goals.

This might be one of the worst football games I have ever played.

I loved PES 6 and still sees it as the best PES and one of the best football games of all time. How the mighty have fallen. This is one of the most frustratingly clunky football games I have ever played. Passes feel unsatisfying, gaining control over the ball is a nightmare (The worst of all if you are using the keyboard) and the game completely lacks the fast and clean gameplay from PES 6. Just trying to get the ball and running around with it feels stiff and clunky!

This game also gets the dishonorable mention for having the worst referee I have ever seen in a football game. This referee was simply made to only give the player a hard time, and it's so unfair. Speaking of unfair, check out all the micro-transition BS that Konami gives online players.

Konami has had a hard time with PES ever since PES 2008 was released. PES 2012 was a big step in the right direction, even though it had it's flaws. But with PES 2015, this is the last straw for me. EA has won the football war and I am done with this franchise. You killed the franchise with your own incompetence, Konami.
