Quantum League really is quite special, a Time Paradox Shooter that justifies the buzzwords with its overlapping timelines of first person shooting. It just needs more players.
Quantum League has a lot of cool ideas but also a few weak points.
Quantum League is a great idea lost in its execution that demonstrates the difficulty of creating a successful multiplayer title in 2021. A project with a sensational gameplay that has been dwindled by the lack of content and the shortage of players. Is it Worth? Definitely, but only if you have someone to play with.
All three of me agree, there's nothing quite like it. Quantum League is worth your time.
Mechanically this is a wonderful first-person shooter that is fun to play with plenty of strategy and room to learn. Unfortunately, it adopts the popular smooth and colourful style, oversaturated by many other shooters already available. Lacking individuality to stand out, a significantly declining player base, and a potentially damaging business model; this game competes in the wrong league. If the developers can quickly reconsider their approach, maybe this shockingly distinct and sensational dimensional combat will get the attention it deserves. As it stands, Quantum League is an impressive shooter with a potentially wave-making time loop mechanic, but its style leaves it only a particle among the rest.
For what it is, Quantum League is a solid novelty that provides quick but demanding sessions that test conventional thoughts on multiplayer shooters. Nimble Giant's unique ideas make it worth the attention of anyone interested in seeing the boundaries of the multiplayer FPS pushed past its limits, but the difficulty curve and lack of content will likely cause many to bounce off an otherwise compelling new concept.
Quantum League is a delightfully inventive, smart, and surprising gem. I’d love to see a future where not just competitive FPS fans, but anyone with an interest in game design has at least given it a go. I also wouldn’t mind seeing a future where they nerf the grenade launcher. [Early Access Review]
