   I, like many others, bought this game upon release. I put about 40 hours into it before I bailed. It’s not that it was a bad game, it justI, like many others, bought this game upon release. I put about 40 hours into it before I bailed. It’s not that it was a bad game, it just felt boring to me. I didn’t “get it”. But, in June of 2019, I started over on the PS4. Since then, I have put over 1000 hours into both the story mode and online. I have 100% in story mode and I haven’t played any other game since. For about 6 years, I was playing exclusively FromSoftware games as they were the only games that held my attention. Somewhere after a few dozen hours, everything just clicks. The tedious, silly tasks no longer seem tedious. Everything seems to have purpose. It is, quite literally, the greatest video game ever created. From the amazing story to the insane graphics. I just get lost in the world. At this point, I can navigate with only a compass. I understand why so many gave up and thought it was boring. For those folks, if you have ANY interest in video games, give it another try. It has earned the top spot in my mind that was previously held by Final Fantasy VII since 1997. This game is the greatest game of all time. It sets out to do everything a video game is meant to do and does it all. This is the ultimate playground. Don’t let it pass you by.… Expand

   $60 for Launcher that can't launch the game without crashing. No fixes, no help, no game. Well done Rockstar. Should of waited for the Steam release.

   It is an unfortunate thing that Rockstar one of the most prolific game developers that bring us such amazing experiences give little love toIt is an unfortunate thing that Rockstar one of the most prolific game developers that bring us such amazing experiences give little love to the pc community. They used to make wacky goofy games and one offs that pushed the envelope in different directions and took risks but Take 2 is a disease riddle with corporate money addicted micro transaction loving soulless garbage. I love Red Dead and put hundreds of hours into it and more on the remaster before Red Dead 2 but this is unacceptable. Why is it that the pc is an after thought that developers just throw crap at a wall and hope it sticks? The pc is what gave Rockstar it's billions of dollars from online and mod communities yet they give so little of a f$#% that it hurts their well earned reputation. Red Dead 2 is an amazing well built story with compelling characters and story beats that keep you committed and engaged throughout it's lengthy campaign. This is one of the most engrossing and beautiful experiences I have had on my Xbox one X but the pc version is a hot garbage fire that is unacceptable. You are made by your customers and destroyed by the same people who once held you in such high esteem. The years of love and childhood fond memories can only last so long before you start to get torn out of the past by just how greedy and disrespectful these devs have treated this community. There is noaccident that CDProject Red is held so high as the gold standard of how to treat your community and give them what you want yourself from a game. Once you put money above fun, exciting stories and strip single player dlc out for some boring "community" mods and games as a service nonsense you deserve everything said about you and seeing so many who loved you starting to leave. You make games for the love and enjoyment it gives you and everyone who interacts with it's world. People give their time, attention, and hard earned dollars for a product when there are so many games that they do not have to support or give you that valuable commodity. Step back and really think about how this affects your company and make a decision money or enjoyable enthralling stories that change the industry because you are almost a shell of the once great Rockstar.… Expand
