Broken Porcelain is good at telling a story, and creating a world filled with horror things. However, the handling feel of this sequel is not satisfactory enough.

This really scary and attractive survival horror experience has so many technical issues that it´s almost unplayable in some scenarios. We have hopes that the developers fix it properly in the coming days.

We are really sad to confirm that such a promising project has sunk in a sea of bugs, control issues and unstable sound. If you REALLY love horror, maybe you should give it a chance, but be ready to get frustrated more often than not.

Broken Porcelain has a great foundation, but it is soon ruined by its terrible combat, it’s trial-and-error design, bugs and, overall, poor gameplay.

By offering a prequel to his horror-psychological game, Chris Darril has the merit of bringing us a little more precision on the story, while putting a final touch to Rosemary Reed's adventures. It's a pity that the production of the title isn't up to the task and that the gameplay is so tedious — not to mention the inconsistency of the game. Additionally, the numerous bugs sure don't help. There were ideas, but unfortunately, they were not successfully implemented.

With its numerous glitches and flaws, Broken Porcelain instead becomes a superfluity of horror game tropes; its cheap jump scares, laboured stealth encounters, and confusing plot now an unfortunate fixture of what used to be a promising survival horror series.

Filled with game-breaking bugs and clunky mechanics, Remothered: Broken Porcelain will give you more than a fair share of horrible, awful memories, but not in the way that was intended.

I was already a fan of the saga, so I obviously bought it as soon as it was out... And yes, it didn't start the best way but let's be fair, they fixed pretty much everything now (and there were no major bugs after just a few days) so I really want to support it because it deserves it!!
Anyway, great graphics, fun gameplay, moving story.. That's what I was looking for and that's what I got.

I liked also the gameplay which is really anxiogenous. The music and sounds are incredible, sometimes it makes me scream when I was stalked by the enemies. I think that I will buy the soundtrack too: it is beautiful! I like Jen (she is a badass), Rosemary and Red Nun are back, and Porcelain... he is disturbing! Good luck with him guys! He is hard to defeat!
I played the first game too and I recommend to play the two games because if you want to understand the story I think that you need to know everything. In this game many things are revealed about characters and their stories.

This game completely blew me away. The storyline is captivating - characters' backstories and personalities are amazing - just as in the first chapter. The setting is claustrophobic and makes the whole experience truly nerve-wracking, especially when you have to run away from stalkers. The visuals and graphics are mesmerizing, I think that the developers have improved them a lot comparing to Tormented Fathers: the environments and props look great, the details are well-researched and refined as well. The soundtrack deserves a special mention, it’s stuck in my head!
Highly recommend to all survival horror fans, especially if you have a taste for heart touching stories and stealth gameplay (as I personally do).

But here comes the problems. All the bad things are bugs and glitches problems, there are also some animation problems.
If they put a patch on it and fix it, it should win the best Italian game.
Super recommended. It also has a lot of replayability with 2 endings, collectibles and statues of the characters (my favorites because they are well hidden and make you have to review the scenarios well).
    I hope they fix it.
When they fix it I'll give it a 10.

I was doubtful at first because of the amount of bugs reported, but after the last patch the game goes on pretty well. Just a bit disappointedI was doubtful at first because of the amount of bugs reported, but after the last patch the game goes on pretty well. Just a bit disappointed about the narrative, as the story is not really linear and clear, and also the gameplay could also be developed a little bit more. By the way, it is a great title, maybe just a little expensive as an indie. Expand

And no... it's still pretty bad. I don't even know what they fixed. I completely give up on this game and won't be giving it any other chances. I just wish I refunded it on day 1.

By far the worst horror game I've ever played. The game-play mechanics (especially the ones related to combat) are incredibly annoying and unpolished. The narrative is a mess. Menuing is a mess. Opening closets/drawers and picking up items is frustrating and painful. Controls are a mess. Cutscenes make no sense. And on top of it all, the game is filled with bugs.

The developers should have spent another year or so working on this game before releasing it.
