Crossing the borders of the RPD or Casa Baker and fighting to the death - only to come back to life as a biological weapon and follow up on the fight - is as fun as it sounds, even without characters more effective than others and of the luck factor, which certainly characterizes what is an experience characterized by lightness. Unfortunately, however, Resident Evil Re: Verse has reached the launch poor in content, with only two maps, a single game mode and an uninteresting support apparatus. The cost of celebrations, skins and secondary elements, in fact, is high and the Battle Pass paths, even the Premium one, have failed to arouse our interest as long-time fans. In the future, things could change but in the current state of things the title of Neobards Entertainment does not have the back to entertain fans for more than a few hours.
An ill-conceived attempt at bringing competitive deathmatch to Resident Evil, that has turned out to be just as terrible as everyone always assumed it would be.

Once again Capcom delivers on it's commitment to making the most fun, competitive, challenging multiplayer title on the market. Subverting fans expectation by changing the paradigm when it comes to the Battle Royale subgenre. Knowing better than die hard fans worldwide, they bravely abandoned ideas like remaking Outbreak, resuming support on Resistance, and even redefined long time favourite mode "The Mercanaries", turning it into Raid Mode and labeling it Mercenaries to generate hype.
Neobards once again proved they have what it takes to be a powerhouse budget studio; defying crunch culture and taking an extra 17 months to resolve no issues, change nothing, and add no content. To add that traditional Neobards style they rightfully collected assets from all available RE Engine games, even reusing multiple victory poses from Resistance. But just when you thought we were lucky enough, we get 16 fabulous wallpapers to earn; curated to the highest quality standards that a free trial of Adobe Photoshop can provide.
Experience pulse-pounding 5 minute deathmatches riddled with latency issues, bugs, and the worst hit detection since the SNES! Transcending industry standards, the bold move to use the tried and true peer2peer network connections from 2005 ensues that if you aren't the host (which you'll never know), you will always be outgunned by the player who is. This fantastic "Russian Roulette" approach to multiplayer deathmatches guarantees fun for only 1 player per lobby!
The fun doesn't stop there! Re:Verse is a treat for both your eyes and ears! Enjoy the immaculate downscaled versions of a few of your favourite RE characters somehow looking worse than their original models. On top of that we are graced with the most amazing, bright "Comic Filter" that everyone can see is there for the express purpose of covering up bad character models and environments. While enjoying this GROUNDBREAKING graphical powerhouse that doesn't even run on the next-gen consoles the main game it was bundled with was released on; lose yourself in the 2 - that's right 2 - pieces of music you will be hearing over and over (one of which is recycled and edited from RE2R; amazing!).
As an added bonus Capcom has made what is quite possibly the greatest choice in their history, and trimmed all the unneeded fat of modern gaming; like a mode to play with friends, team deathmatch, and any other content that would surely bloat what is already a masterpiece. Marvel at the completely illogical and broken MMR system where being anything but first place awards you 0 points, but being below 3rd ensures a loss of 20-30! This makes gaining MMR even more time consuming and fun than it already would be with interactive features like constant kill-stealing, being hit around corners, and extreme lag. The new "your ability goes off, the opposing player gets hit, it triggers a sound effect and blood animation, but you don't actually do any damage" system leaves industry analysts in awe at what could very well be the greatest system gaming has ever seen!
Buy Re:Verse now and get access to RE Village at no additional charge! Don't forget to pick up the paid cosmetics and Battlepass that you need to buy every update. Truly Re:Verse was worth the wait, and trickling 4 characters that no one cares about and 1 creature + 1 map that have all been shown to be completed, over the span of months, will only build even more anticipation for this amazing title!

I played it to form my opinion about this production. And I will say that it is a shame that something like this was released for the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil series. I will definitely not play it again. Oh, it was just very bad... One plus for the fact that all main RE characters are in one game and they look awesome together on the title screen.

With this dreaded spinoff, Capcom looks to crawl back into that smelly grave they spent a lot of time climbing back out of. Resident Evil "Re:Verse" (like that edgy title is supposed to mean something) is an absolute garbage fire that I'm sure will be dead in just a matter of weeks. The controls are cumbersome and finnicky, the lack of modes and maps makes the gameplay loop repetitive way too fast. Worst of all, the amount of lag makes this literally unplayable for me. As soon as I noticed that poor player performance can decrease your rank due to this game-breaking issue, I immediately quit. If you want to make a league-based PvP game Capcom, maybe you should polish it before you whip it out to the public. Which we all thought you did while you delayed it for 16 months...

I find people jump to the "dead game" label much too fast, but this one is truly dead and buried.
Impossible to find a match. Currently, there are 9 players on steam, meaning there are probably 2 on PSN, including myself.
So if on console you have no choice but to turn on cross-play, putting you at a disadvantage right away.
Still, been searching for an hour with cross play on yielded no result, sometimes it would say 2/6 players but 4 are needed to start a match.
One time I was able to get in one, did 3 matches in a row, never a full lobby, always the 4 same players, the gameplay was OK, No bots means I can't give this a higher score than 0, though.

Esse jogo não foi aceito nem no céu nem no inferno, 2 anos pra produzir um jogo que ninguém pediu e que só tem dois mapas e do tamanho da Shipment do CoD e só 5 personagens, impossível jogar mais que 15 minutos.

It's one thing for Capcom to ignore the never ending stream of requests from fans to revisit the Outbreak series, but when every multiplayer outing comes out looking like RE:Verse, it almost seems like the cruelty is intentional. You'd be better off spending your time bombing reviews and basking in the schadenfreude of another abysmal failure than actually playing (or attempting to play, given the miserable amounts of steps needed for account creation) RE:Verse.
