  • Summary: Droves of undead roam the streets, and all flesh must be eaten! The leader of this undead horde is some emo Eurotrash vampire freak, and it’s up to Sam & Max to take him down -- hopefully with their brains intact. [GameTap]

After nine episodes and nearly a year and a half, this stuff hasn't begun to feel old or tired.
  2. Assuming you don't have a strong aversion to seeing vampires walk around with their thumbs dangling lazily from their nipple rings, you can't really go wrong with this.

Night of the Raving Dead lacks a truly memorable, show-stopping sequence to really put it over the top, but it's Grade-Z(for zombie and zany)through and through. [May 2008, p.66]
  4. The puzzles are all fun and can become quite difficult as the game progresses. More th[a]n one time I found myself clueless as to how to get out of a room or to defeat an enemy, having to try every available option before finally finding a solution.
  5. Like the previous games in this series, Sam & Max - Night of the Raving Dead is a neatly put together adventure that is stamped by professionalism.
  6. It's better than Ice Station Santa, yet not quite as good as Moai Better Blues. It remains small in both size and scope, while those who have stuck with the series since Season 1 will find that much of the actual gameplay is basic meat-and-potatoes fetch-questing. And's indecently cheap and, for all its minor flaws, the ongoing saga of Sam & Max is still the funniest game around.

After the high quality of the first two episodes of Season Two, it's disappointing to see the series misfire as it reaches its midpoint.

    Right back on track!
Probably the most comical episode so far! . . .

The game still feels low budget, with out of place reused characters continuing to detract from the experience. The jokes are as before, on occasion being chuckle-funny but for the most part just missing. Entertainment wise, the game is still a decent deal. Also, the memory leak is still there that will somehow manage to eat up a whole gig of RAM. Expand
