  • Summary: Scourge of War: Waterloo follows in the footsteps of its American Civil War predecessors and takes the action to one of the most famous battles in history. It is by far the most detailed game about the final battle of the War of the Seventh Coalition.

a game that had a lot of potential, and while it doesn’t quite live up to all of it, it’s still a very intricate, detailed attempt at bringing to life one of the biggest battles of that period.

Not an RTS for everyone: it's incredibly deep and complex, and the technical side is filled with small issues. Just for hardcore RTS fans.

The fans of the historical strategy and tactical games can find entertainment here. Its level of detail, both on the armies and the settings, and its multiplayer are the strong points. However, there are still some optimization issues and it is too demanding for the casual player.

When you play it in multiplayer, with thousands and thousands of soldiers on the field, communicating with your teammate only via courier, fighting a two or three hours long battle without problem, you don't feel just a player of a videogame; you feel like Napoleon (or Wellington or Blucher) himself. Fantastic! Expand

Probably the only (working) realtime realistic simulation (NTW sure is not a simulation) of Napoleonic warfare. Great replay value,Probably the only (working) realtime realistic simulation (NTW sure is not a simulation) of Napoleonic warfare. Great replay value, multiplayer can be coop and teamvsteam at the same moment. You have different difficulty levels, from the classical bird view style with immediate commands to the maximum realism with view from the ground and comamnd delayed using the couriers. Beautiful maps and great armies, we played multiplayers with 4, 7, 10 or more players at the same time with thousand of troops on the field. The moddability of game is enormous, you can create also your version of AI. Is expensive probably (but you can wait a discount period) but you can play it for years without losing interests, especially if you like multiplayer. A "must have" for napoleonic fans. Expand

Molte possibilità di personalizzare le opzioni di gioco; ottima la possibilità di giocare online sempre simulando la catena di comando e l'uso dei corrieri; notevole l'AI.
