Season: A letter to the future is a melancholic and touching ode to the things we leave behind, while the world continues on regardless. It’s beautiful, and those of an inquisitive nature should step into its world to create memories of their own.

It took me eight hours to reach the conclusion, but Season doesn’t waste a moment — even if at times all I do is sit on a bench and look out over the landscape. I’m not sure I made all the best decisions along the way, and I’m tempted to run through the world again to see how things might have gone differently. It’s not for everyone, but I suspect SEASON: A letter to the future will be one of my favorite games this year.

I feel like calling SEASON "the Death Stranding of indie games". SEASON is a very meaningful game where you can deeply feel that loneliness, music, sounds and the feeling of "keeping memories alive".

A wonderful exploration of a world that is recognizable yet foreign. Fantastical ideas mix with the ordinary in a beautiful backdrop. This melancholy act of remembrance might not play to action fans but it's a truly evocative exploration of loss and change.

A purely atmospheric experience, Season: a letter to the future is a little candy, a poem about the passing years and their memories which, strangely, transports you completely out of time. A road trip by bike made of absolutely charming encounters that enjoys excellent sound work. A must-do for lovers of short narrative experiences in which you can easily let yourself be transported.

Season is a reminder that memories of the past are all we’re left with, and it staples the importance of being able to carry over that knowledge into future generations. Because otherwise, we’re left with a culture that is doomed to repeat the same mistakes and won’t have the skills to work past it.

Season: A Letter to the Future is an emotional trip full of stories you have to immortalize in your diary. You will watch, you will listen, you will sometimes utilize your creativity and you will think about many topics relevant for us all.

A thought-provoking game that makes you think about Estelle's world, but also about our own, a meditation about what's important to us and worth saving. You'll learn a lot - about Estelle, but also about yourself and the decisions you make in the time that you have left.

Season: A Letter to the Future is a rush of emotions. You’ll feel happy, lonely, or even scared at any given time. It plays on the player’s curiosity and rewards those who take the time to explore. If you don’t have that time available, I’m afraid the experience will fall short. It’s a game that makes unremarkable situations remarkable through themes of memories and how we could lose everything in an instant.

Season: A Letter to the Future might not last long, but it's a lovely experience for anyone who enjoys taking their time, piecing together lore, and photographing everything they see.

It probably won’t appeal to those who have a hunkering for a more action-oriented experience. But for a relaxing evening on the couch, without much thinking required, the adventure title definitely delivers. It’s simply a beautiful game, both in terms of graphics and the story that it tells, and will leave players with a pleasant sense of wonder, curiosity, and vague nostalgia.

Season: A Letter to the Future is a meditative indie adventure that rewards players who are willing to slow down and take it all in. Even when its written story wanders, its vibrant world and detailed sound design always speaks for itself.

It's a shame that a game I've been waiting for so long has been relegated to a bunch of pleasing visuals and sensations that try too quicklyIt's a shame that a game I've been waiting for so long has been relegated to a bunch of pleasing visuals and sensations that try too quickly and too hard to make you feel something. Because feelings can't be awakened with a sledgehammer, shouting to the player: "look how profound this is! Now it's your turn to be sad!!!". If you really have something to tell, you trust that, through the images and the narrative, the player himself will find his place in your story, and will experience the travel in his own terms.

But no. IMHO, the developers have forgotten to be subtle. To be genuine. And as a result, Season is closer to being a perfume ad than a work of art.

I blame mushrooms for what kind of BS they developed :DDD

it's just an interactive insanity program™.there is a certain philosophy and metaphors and subtle messages that can mean anything. I seriously had the impression of how cold war agents used certain popular books to communicate by drawing a line between certain words or using a way to count words according to a numerical password to only read certain words that form a meaningful sentence so I called FBI for this program could be how commie agents communicate with each other around the world. I did my duty as perfect american **** yeah citizen :DDD

they thought this game would be boring if it was a walking simulator so they added the revolutionary feature of bicycle to ride on. so the game is boring in faster sense just because you can determine how boring the game faster thanks to bicycle

I have no idea of what's the deal of the character you control. this person looks like a male but why they have an obvious girl voice? did you want to make people surprised, doubt, google if they are male or female, do you want to seem like you support LGBT and SJW BS? only edward kenway wouldn't understand the character is a girl lmao

cannot make sense of the game because this is not art, it's just pure insanity or codes agents use. what's happening and what's the meaning of the game is not clear just because of all the subjectivity but it seems like a certain person would understand the meaning behind the game like a certain commie agent :DDD

in high school I had a friend who believed magic and whatnot **** so what's happening at the beginning of the game is what she would do. perhaps witch hunters didn't burn certain women for no reason :DDD

so all the program is about being forced to take pics and record sounds of everything the game forced you so don't expect to free roam a world and enjoy the world. this is not zelda botw even though they somehow stole its vibe. though craftopia is a better game. in this program you mostly listen to BS and make choices like what you like to smell and what to say to people. alas **** you" wasn't option in dialogues so instead you choose between lots of insane replies lol
