This game is actually not worth it's price. It has what made the Spellforce franchise great, but it's short and i'll risk to say that it has the worst story of all the Spellforce series, based on the cliche that you have to do everything "because it's your destiny". Beware, however, that you won't be able to play with your friends if they own this game because the servers exist no more. You may try to find a way to play online with a program like hamachi, but I can guarantee that it won't be easy.

Now, considering this is a standalone EXPANSION pack, this game adds quite a bit. It continues the storyline and add new units. The graphics haven't changed much, which, for me, is good. This wouldn't be a spellforce 2 game without the same graphics. The inventory system hasn't changed and there aren't any new skills or abilities (which I really expected). Some of the fetch quests are extremely stupid and boring and the expansion is a bit too short (max 12 hours of gameplay). However, the gameplay is EXCELLENT. A must buy for everyone who likes Strategy games. Expand

Below average and short with a few bugs. Pretty much everything about this game says "substandard".

"Disarming" is not enough to describe this RPG. Six years ago Faith in Destiny would have achieved a great success but for today's standards it's to obsolete and featureless. [Issue#220]

SP2: Faith in Destiny is a mess. [Oct 2012, p.69]
