Storm: Frontline Nations delivers a solid strategic gameplay in modern era, with in-depth unit and territorial management. It offers a good alternative and a fresh twist to the Total War saga, thanks to a well programmed game engine and its turn-based battles.
Frontline Nation is ideal for people that aren't used to turn-based strategy games. The focus on warfare makes it great for newcomers as long as they can look past the overpowered helicopter and the long loading times.
Graphics and sound aren't that important in a turn baesd strategy game, but the problem with this game is the bad AI. It's still fun, but without long term motivation.
It's a slick mix of Total War and Panzer General, but the strategic map is far too chaotic and implausible. [Nov 2011, p.77]
It promised a lot, however the more we played it the more disappointed we became.
Tedious and absurdly overcomplicated game with no game design plus ugly graphics together made just another pointless strategy. [Issue#207]
